"Russia's jamming may cause drones to drift into Finnish airspace, PM Orpo says".
Well, it's good to see the Fins didn't jump to conclusions about why the drones were there. But they sent fighter jets out anyway.

Yeah that’s fair tbh. Not jumping to conclusions is a good sign.
But at the same time, if something enters Finland airspace, they kinda have to react ,sending jets is just standard procedure.
Even if it’s due to jamming from the Russia-Ukraine War, you can’t really take chances with unidentified drones.

With the recent Auvere incident, this starts looking like a pattern. Russia may be sending the Ukrainian drones astray into its Western neighbors' airspace.

Could be, but it’s still too early to call it a pattern. Electronic warfare can cause drones to drift off course, so intent is hard to prove right now.

Yeah, it’s definitely not a great situation.
Even if it turns out to be unintentional, stuff like this can raise tensions quickly , especially with everything going on around the Russia-Ukraine War.
Hopefully it stays just an isolated incident and doesn’t escalate further.

They were striking Russian ports on the Baltic, it's not like the drone was meant to hit Crimea and got really lost
