Like everything in the Netherlands, it's probably a good idea, but impossible to enforce. There won't be any authority present 24/7, or at all, besides the occasional patrol. See also: * Fireworks ban * "Fatbike" ban

Train platforms are also supposed to be smoke free in NL. Yet every day I wait in cigarette smell.

Most of the parks in BC are smoke free. I’ve yet to see anyone smoking in one here

I am pretty sure that the people visiting the park will help with the enforcement. I would love to have a park where I am not forced to breath second hand smoke
