Someone needs to do the annual reminder that this isnt the "best people" list. And if I'm not mistaken, TIME had Hitler on their "Man of the Year" list once.

Yeah, and you literally can't deny he is one of the 100 most influential people in the world. Heck, considering the Iran war is happening primarily due to Israel, I would say that's a pretty good example of Bibi's influence.

Always remember that Netanyahu's corruption trial was set to start on October 8.

The whole point is that it’s the most influential people, for better or worse. Hitler and Stalin have both been the person of the year. You can’t deny that bibi is one of the most influential people currently

He's definitely influential, that shouldn't be controversial to put him on such a list.

bibi has overseen: destruction of Syrian regime friendly to Iran degraded Hezbollah and Hamas almost to point of breaking. for example Hamas is no longer able to fire rockets at Israel despite firing 20,000 into Israel over last decades (each a war crime. all hostages - returned and finally Israel has been able to strike and damage the head of the snake Iran. that has been financing war against Israel for 40+ years. iran itself was untouchable. it was able to strike Israel and Israel could not fight back. now there is a lot more parity. like it or not but Israel's OBJECTIVE geopolitical positions improved. and markets reflect it: [https://www.calcalistech.com/ctechnews/article/rkr5y854zg](https://www.calcalistech.com/ctechnews/article/rkr5y854zg) [https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/israeli-tech-sector-annual-deals-listings-jump-59-billion-pwc-says-2025-12-15/](https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/israeli-tech-sector-annual-deals-listings-jump-59-billion-pwc-says-2025-12-15/)

People actually believe this nonsense? Never have been more dangerous time to be a Jew inside or outside Israel. 07/10? Hostile takeover over judicial system Degradation of police Raging crime People leaving Israel in unprecedented numbers Robbery of public funds Unprecedented corruption Internal hate and violence Relationships improved: Red half of US and Somaliland. Relationships worsened: some 190 countries. And I did not even say one word about situation outside of Israel, all the people killed and lives destroyed, cause I suspect that you give a f*** about that.

epic_taco_time 3 days ago +7
There have been many times throughout history where it has been more dangerous to be a jew. One of the most dangerous was 1945.
7
DorkHarshly 3 days ago +2
I thought me saying in or outside Israel is enough to figure the timeframe. And yes '45 is the last time that it was worse for Jews than 2023-2026.

epic_taco_time 3 days ago +3
1948 was worse, 1967 was worse, 1973 was worse, 1982 was worse, 2006 was worse, 1987-1993 and 2000-2005 were arguably worse.

Bunch of baloney. By death count only 1948 and Yom Kippur comparable. But in all cases these were soldiers and civilians were protected (bar 1948), unlike now. If you count total casualties, now is the worse. But since 1945, this is the worst time to be Jew abroad. This is the worst time ever to live in Israel for: Personal security, freedom of speech, corruption, inequality etc etc. This is the most divided this society ever was. This is the absolute lowest point for international relations. This is the only time we have openly active foreign operative in the PMs office. This is the absolute lowest point for education since the 60s. So the only example which is comparable on SOME parameters is in the first year after inception of Israel. This is how bad it is. Also, 2006? 1967? First Intifada? What are you 12?

lol. I love how you did not contradict a SINGLE THING I SAID....

I could have, I just did not: You said that all hostages returned. Did you mean the ones that did not died. Also, Bibi did it only after Trump's ultimatum did he not? Hamas and Hezbollah degraded? Hezbollah is shooting at Israel as I write this words. Hamas is not but this was always the case when we invaded Gaza. The downside is number of soldiers killed. Iran nuclear ability was not removed. But now they have a good reason to insist on it. So we strike them for the sake of striking, without exit plan. Did we remove the head of the snake? Or maybe it was immediately replaced with another..? Bibi could not even leverage the protests in his advantage. I can give credit for Syria. But the credit is ... striking Syria army sites at the moment when they were helpless. Not a huge one. In conclusion: Huge loser. Impotent leader. Criminal. Now you can address all points I made? Or will you shut your eyes and stick fingers in your ears? So.. with or without contradiction of your points, his main influence is hatred, from and to Jews worldwide, destruction of Israel and corruption in general. Most influential indeed.

how many hostages does Hamas have now? Hezbollah/ Hamas Rocket fire is at ALL TIME LOW. Hamas lost half of Gaza. Hezbollah being pushed north of Litani as we speak. iran's nuclear project has at least been set back. their military capabilities degraded. their leader sent to heaven. 4 years ago Israel was living under the gun of Iran's proxies on all sides and could not even touch iran. now there is a lot more parity. Absolutely HUGE objective improvement in overall geopolitical position. re: hatred. people hated Jews for centuries and centuries. you think that's new? lol

> how many hostages does Hamas have now? Would it not be better to ask how many Israel have? And how many died in rescuing them? And who's fault they were taken in the first place? > Hezbollah/ Hamas If you close your eyes and ignore everything and just measure by number of rockets, not sure if this is all time but it sure is low. But by every other parameter: number of dead on both sides, destruction etc. pretty sure this is the worst years since '48. > Iran You count Bibi success vs Iran in damage made to Iran (killing bunch of people who were replaced within one week, destroying arms which will be replaced in a few years, limp dicking the nuclear, f****** up the public opinion). I count it in benefit to Israel which is negative. > HUGE objective improvement in overall geopolitical position. This is actually laughable statement. You lost US and EU as allies. Whoever was neutral towards now negative towards us. Whoever was negative towards us attacked us for the first time (Iran and Houthies). Whoever attacked us before, had unprecedented success (Hamas had the best attack ever and turned the world against us, Hezbollah had one of the best years ever fund collection wise). To summarize: This impotent solved about 40% of the problems he himself created. Most influential loser.

\>but it sure is low. of course people like you never saw it as a big deal Israel being constantly bombed by war crime rockets... figures....
3
DorkHarshly 3 days ago
Israel still is bombed. And I do think it is a big deal. Israel was bombed in last 2.5 years in unprecedented scale. And also, invaded. And also, ostracized.. But the loser and his cult missed that. Amazing how dodged the rest. The only way you can survive your conscience is with your eyes and ears shut tight.

Man, jew haters are so upset that Israel is not bombed by 20K Hamas rockets any more. it's a pleasure to watch...

Who are these Jew haters? Are they in the room with us? Seriously do you feel that you are safer that you were before 07/10? If so I have a cool shirt to recommend you, with sleeves tied at the back.

Definitely not all hostages were returned, many died in captivity or were straight up killed by the IDF through indiscriminate shooting/bombing
-3
xmuskorx 3 days ago +5
perhaps I did not phrase it right: no hostages remain hostages at this point. Hamas was forced to free the hostages that remained.

Bullshit, he wasn't responsible for that at all! It was the the supreme court's fault! Or... The protestors in Kaplan! Or the deep state? I'm sure that as we approach October he'll settle on who to blame but himself.
