Bunch of baloney. By death count only 1948 and Yom Kippur comparable. But in all cases these were soldiers and civilians were protected (bar 1948), unlike now. If you count total casualties, now is the worse. But since 1945, this is the worst time to be Jew abroad. This is the worst time ever to live in Israel for: Personal security, freedom of speech, corruption, inequality etc etc. This is the most divided this society ever was. This is the absolute lowest point for international relations. This is the only time we have openly active foreign operative in the PMs office. This is the absolute lowest point for education since the 60s. So the only example which is comparable on SOME parameters is in the first year after inception of Israel. This is how bad it is.
