> Trump posted on social media about Mueller’s death: “Robert Mueller just died. Good, I’m glad he’s dead.” Every time I think that trump has reached the bottom, he somehow demonstrates that he can go lower…

Never allow a conservative to scold you about respecting the dead. This is the guy they worship.

And the left was expected to suck Charlie Kirk's d*** and wear black for a month when he got killed.

I still have one weird m*********** that lives near me with a “we are all Charlie Kirk” sign in his yard. Like, no b****, I’m alive.
2103
BardTrumer Mar 21, 2026 +458
theres multiple people where I live who are still so f****** sad and angry over Charlie Kirk. Bumper stickers, the t shirt is still worn at least once a week, flag in the yard.

Toomanyeastereggs Mar 21, 2026 +360
It does though make them so easy to identify and avoid socially. Which is a positive in my book. Previously you’d meet people, get to know them and like them as a friend. And the one day **BOOM**, you discover that they are actually into pedophiles and murdering children and poor people when you happen to see their Republican membership renewal notice on their fridge or a well thumbed copy of the Bible on a nightstand. By then it’s a moral dilemma as you like them but find it hard to contrast that with their hidden darker side. At least when they advertise who they are with flags and t-shirts, you can avoid that.

lousy_at_handles Mar 21, 2026 +336
> a well thumbed copy of the Bible on a nightstand. If they truly have this, they're probably fine. It's the ones with brand spanking new ones prominently displayed in a conspicuous location you have to worry about.

RIGHT! My Bibles are well-worn and I can not understand why people are saying Trump is righteous.

That is offensive to me. There is nothing about me that "is Charlie kirk". F that guy, he was a pos.
87
not_a-mimic Mar 21, 2026 +64
The difference is that people don't like Charlie Kirk because of the ignorance he spreads about other people. Trump doesn't like Robert Muller because he was doing his job in (somewhat) holding him accountable.

things conservative can no longer complain about: * protecting the children * starting random wars * increasing US national debt * government building concentration camps (FEMA camps) * masked military people on streets coming to your home unannounced with no warrant * freedom of speech * freedom of the press * showing respect to the troops * showing respect to office of US President * showing respect to the dead * corruption * rising gas prices Did I miss anything?

Crazy how hard MAGA got offended if you said anything about Charlie Kurk's death other than praising him. They felt those who were glad deserved to die as well. Yet it's okay for Trump to say he's glad someone else died because he didn't like him.

They do not understand the word hypocritical and I doubt they could even spell it.
190
DrocketX Mar 21, 2026 +79
No, they understand it. In fact, they revel in it for the simple fact that it bothers liberals, and making liberals angry is roughly half of what the MAGA movement is about (the other half being racism.)
79
oblivion476 Mar 21, 2026 +90
Just wait until Trump himself dies. They'll canonize him. He'll have had never done a single thing wrong. Saying anything disparaging about him will get you cancelled even quicker than Kirk would. The media will get in on it too. I wouldn't be surprised to see them try to get him a national holiday.

They lost their shit when people would post Kirk quotes because they were trying (and some still are trying) to make him out as a right wing MLK jr but it turns out it's hard to astroturf him as some great man who wanted to unite America when there are countless comments from him showing him to be a racist, sexist, piece of shit who the right using as the smiling face of fascism.

Tact was once described as being able to tell someone to go to hell in such a way they look forward to the trip. He seriously has no tact. There are 1000 ways to say "I didn't like the guy but it's a shame a human life is lost"

> beginning his 12-year tenure just one week before the Sept. 11 attacks and serving across presidents of both political parties Forgot that he was thrown into the fire almost immediately. > Trump posted on social media about Mueller’s death: “Robert Mueller just died. Good, I’m glad he’s dead.” The Republican president added, “He can no longer hurt innocent people!” Classy statement from Trump the pedophile, exactly what you'd expect from him.

They do understand. It’s irrelevant to them. Because they are on the side of righteousness and us heathens are blessed to have them guide us from our wickedness with such a firm had.
419
BadPunners Mar 21, 2026 +182
I also think many people underestimate how many are fully aware of the hypocrisy, and the being allowed to get away with such bold faced falsehoods is itself a sign of their power (along with being skilled in implying something so everyone gets it, but never actually saying a real allegation that would be libelous, "just asking questions", "just a joke bro") And they get off on getting away with it, it's a petty form of control That is the "Reality Distortion Field" of them being able to "bend facts" to their will, manifest what others say is impossible And doing so _is what proves_ the righteousness you speak of. Just have _faith_ and you can see that too!
182
jimgress Mar 21, 2026 +96
Glad to see people finally understanding this. Back in 2017 people did backflips trying to explain the "complicated" worldview these ghouls had instead of accepting that they are actually just disingenuous liars who get off on their petty attempts at power.
96
showyerbewbs Mar 21, 2026 +22

FckPolMods Mar 21, 2026 +12
It's even simpler than that. They simply dont have principles, and everything is just "winning vs. losing", as if politics, culture and life itself were nothing more than a spectator sport. It's no wonder they made a self-serving narcissist their God.
12
Jesus_Is_My_Gardener Mar 21, 2026 +86
The same people who had no qualms saying horrible shit about the Obama's, both while in office and after, will no doubt immediately claim decorum and respect must be paid to Trump regardless of ideological differences. F*** that. The man is a horrible example of a human being, and always has been. At this point, he deserves no respect or consideration. His name should be immediately torn down everywhere possible and relegated as a mere footnote in history along with the other massive mistakes we've made. He deserves no legacy and I only wish him to live long enough to see that happen, as much as I realize it likely won't. We could have video directly from Epstein's vault showing all the horrible things he's been accused of, perhaps even a snuff video, and that piece of shit would still have support from his base. F*** him and f*** his enablers.
86
Tired8281 Mar 21, 2026 +68
Pointing out their hypocrisy to them is worse than useless. Hypocrisy is a flex to them, it's them saying they done it, and what are you gonna do about it? So, bringing their attention to their flex, and reinforcing to them that they beat you with it, is never gonna be something that makes them feel bad. It makes them feel good.
68
wahoozerman Mar 21, 2026 +606

Mueller played soft ball with dictator what more would you expect. If Mueller or Garland did their jobs instead of protecting institutions the world wouldn't be on fire, again.
77
BetMyLastKrispyKreme Mar 22, 2026 +30
I think Mueller was hamstrung by Bill Barr, and that’s why nothing went any further than it did. But I agree about Garland. Many things that are wrong with where we are as a country can be laid on his doorstep. His legacy is and will be shit, and he deserves all of it.
30
blueindsm Mar 22, 2026 +27
That is correct. Barr wouldn't allow him to follow the money which is one of the main ways he should have investigated. He couldn't do whatever he wanted. Saying Mueller was "protecting institutions" is extremely ignorant.

57
bkendig Mar 21, 2026 +5296
I blame Mueller in large part for the mess we're in today. He issued his report that painted a damning picture of Trump's illegal activities, but he stuck to a quaint notion that the President can't be charged with a crime and that it would be unfair to Trump to accuse him of wrongdoing without charging him, because then he wouldn't have a chance to defend himself. So Mueller softened his conclusions in the report and left it up to Congress to connect the dots and follow through. Which, of course, did not happen. AG Barr released a statement misrepresenting the report's conclusions, Trump declared that the report "totally exonerated" him, and that was the end of that.
5296
It_Hurts_when_IP15 Mar 21, 2026 +817
Not to mention, when Barr came out with his dogshit watered down interpretation of muellers report, it was Muellers duty to come out and let the public know that his words were twisted and misinterpreted

Good grief. It’s like our congresspeople supporting the big beautiful bill immediately after it was introduced and then getting mad afterward at what was in it. Maybe READ things before making decisions?!
38
Beef_Whalington Mar 22, 2026 +17
Unfortunately it's by design. They make the bills/laws so unfathomably huge and technical that not a single senator or congress-member can actually be expected to read even half the shit that they vote on. It's another "reasonable" excuse that they dont fix because it gives them a cop-out
17
Accomplished-Cow-234 Mar 21, 2026 +37
I remember the line being thay Mueller "exonerated" him, crazy to celebrate the death of someone who exonerated you. Sigh.
37
bkendig Mar 21, 2026 +204
This. It seems like, after the report was issued, Mueller himself disappeared. It would have been a strong statement if he himself had shown up somewhere (a talk show circuit? a legal proceeding? a press release?) and explicitly said 'the evidence is damning, I didn't exonerate him, it's the responsibility of Congress to pick up from here.'

People like Mueller play by the rules. For trump, rules are for others to follow and him to violate with impunity.
116
ComfortableExotic646 Mar 21, 2026 +87
Robert Mueller did not play by the rules. He played the game. If he played by the rules, he would have indicted the President. He would have intentionally caused a constitutional crisis that would need to be solved by the Supreme Court. Instead he listened to an FBI memo, and pretended he couldn't do his job. The only way to play by the rules is to force everyone else to play by the rules as well, which could only happen if precedent was set in the legal system.

bolerobell Mar 21, 2026 +52
He was a conservative. He doesn’t believe in universal rules. It’s why he didn’t push for anytime regarding Trump. Trump clearly did wrong g and his campaign synchronized with Russia during the election. If it was a minority or a poor person who did that, you better believe Mueller would’ve been screaming from the rooftops.

radicalelation Mar 21, 2026 +45
Barr came in and fixed everything, from Mueller to Epstein. Heritage needed the big guns from Reagan's time and was successful.
45
SledgexHammer Mar 21, 2026 +1086
Yeah it was pretty disappointing to see all that fanfare only for him to b**** out in the end. Pretty detrimental decision he made.
1086
swingadmin Mar 21, 2026 +251
Mueller underestimated how far his "good friend" Bill Barr would go to cover up Trump's collusion with Russia. James Comey was fired for threatening to investigate. Congresss authorized a special counsel. Trump forced Jeff Sessions to resign. Barr took over as AG and wrote the OLC memo that Mueller used to soften his report. He did not directly interview or subpeona Trump. He pushed back against allegations of Trump/Russia collusion. At each misstep, he accepted diminishing the power of the Special Counsel. Robert Mueller could not see that they were going to ruin his career, for a career criminal, who would later celebrate his passing as if he ever posed a threat.
251
Kilane Mar 21, 2026 +86
Let’s not paint Comey as a good guy. He was happy to paint Clinton as a bad person while hiding Trump being under investigation. He is as responsible for this mess as anyone, more than most people in power.
86
shidncome Mar 21, 2026 +149
Mueller was a life long republican he was never gonna do any real damage to trump's admin no matter what. That's why he was chosen.
149
PensiveinNJ Mar 21, 2026 +32
Bill Barr is literally a pedophile and in the Epstein files. His father was a known associate as well. It was big we've investigated ourselves energy. I doubt Mueller was completely ignorant to who Barr was and how detrimental it would be to him personally to have Trump exposed to legal scrutiny in every way.
32
iruleatants Mar 21, 2026 +16
He didn't underestimate it. Barr said he would ensure that Trump was protected before he even got selected as the new AG. Nothing to underestimate there. He knew what would happen and didn't care.
16
jleonardbc Mar 21, 2026 +98
>because then he wouldn’t have a chance to defend himself. Trump is free to present evidence of his innocence to the public any time he wants.
98
LegitimateWorth77 Mar 21, 2026 +9
Even so, he would still enjoy the right to a fair trial with a jury of his peers. I never understood the whole “he wouldn’t be able to defend himself” angle. That’s the whole point of the justice system.
9
HedonisticFrog Mar 21, 2026 +47
Barr released that statement before the report even came out to bias everyone against it. Just pure propaganda. Mueller really did fumble that ball to avoid confrontation, it was so frustrating to watch. When it comes to Democrats we have Comey directly violating FBI policy to hurt Hillary, but when Trump is found to have committed crimes he gets the kid glove treatment multiple times. Who else can commit 34 felonies and violating judicial orders and never see a day in jail?
47
JustTheBeerLight Mar 21, 2026 +38
Exactly. Mueller could have taken a stronger stand. He could have gone for broke. Same for Garland. We needed brazen strength and adherence to the constitution and all we got was a limp d*** response by people too scared to put their neck out on the line.
38
bkendig Mar 21, 2026 +30
Oh, don't even get me started on Garland. He accomplished exactly what he intended to do: slow-walk the Trump case until time ran out. He never promised to do anything different. Two huge mistakes of Biden's were appointing him and not replacing him.

Mueller was a decorated Marine combat veteran, a longtime public servant and a private citizen at the time of death. Publicly cheering someone’s death like this when you’re objectively not far behind is really asking for its due karma.

I really hope that when it eventually happens, people from all over the world will share pictures of themselves celebrating. Because i think many Americans are still in denial about how much of the world hates them right now, even their oldest allies. You know, the countries that have been supporting them since the revolutionary war.  It's not just the middle east or south East Asia that hates them anymore. I'm fact a single middle Eastern country may actually be one of the last remaining friends.

I actually want Trump to cling to life as long as possible. If he dies 3 months before the election, Vance is screwed. If he dies tomorrow, the media will have 2 years to transition the cult of personality over to a new leader. We're much better off with Trump's childish temper tantrums than we would be with an actual competent fascist.
38
airfryerfuntime Mar 21, 2026 +22
Even with two years leadup to the election, I doubt they'd be able to get people to like Vance. MAGA *is* Trump, and without him, most of the diehard followers are done.
22
Known_Appointment604 Mar 21, 2026 +55
Read trumps written response to this. And this is why when IT happens, the collective celebration worldwide will be justified. So take note, right wingers. This is more evidence to make our reaction valid to his “transition”

>Trump posted on social media after the announcement of Mueller’s death: “Robert Mueller just died. Good, I’m glad he’s dead.” The Republican president added, “He can no longer hurt innocent people!” Millions, maybe billions, of people worldwide will be saying the same thing when he dies. >A sociopath is an individual with Antisocial Personality Disorder (ASPD) characterized by a lack of empathy, chronic manipulation, disregard for rules, and shallow emotions. They often act impulsively and recklessly, with a tendency toward anger, unlike the more calculating psychopath. Sounds familiar. Nobody likes a sociopath.

879
Trap_Masters Mar 21, 2026 +198
Them being hypocrites is the only thing they're consistent at. Remember that their "cancellation" attempts went as high as the administration trying to cancel Jimmy Kimmel for not even making fun of Charlie but criticizing Trump for using his death for his own political benefits. Meanwhile they're screaming about "unity" and how it's the left that doesn't want it.

He had all the info. He literally knew what happened. If he had been brave, he could have changed the world. But he wanted to be “the good man”. A code. He went to his grave being a good man, I guess. Knife to a gun fight. Sorry for his family.

Bill Barr did a media tour to lie about what was in the report, even.
41
bp92009 Mar 21, 2026 +38
And Mueller refused to say anything about it. He should have spent as much time as Barr did, in as public of a manner, calling out how Barr's summary was a lie, and how Barr's actions rose to making him an active co-conspirator in said actions of Trump. But Mueller refused to do his duty, and did what he always wanted to do. Protect Republicans from the consequences of their actions.
38
mattjf22 Mar 21, 2026 +13
RIP I understand he was a good FBI director but as a special prosecutor he was a huge disappointment and allowed himself to get steam rolled by Bill Barr.

MrJackpot318 Mar 22, 2026 +28
Our country is a f****** embarrassment. We live in a state where our president not only has built basically a private echo chamber for his delusional ramblings but has then gone on to celebrate an Americans death. IF there is a peaceful transfer of power come election season it will take the next president years to clean up the mess that this toddler has been making

I dont understand why democrats keep appointing republicans to ANY law enforcement positions in the name of "bipartisanship". The reason we end up qhere we are is because it's always democrat president appointing republican heads of the cia and fbi. And republican presidents appointing republican heads of the cia and fbi. Democrats surrendered law enforcement to conservatives because it's convenient and now here we are.

Republicans said clearly that being disrespectful after someone's death, especially right after, is unacceptable and that it reflects poorly on anyone who would do so. In fact they believe that such disrespect is so severe one should lose their job for it, as an example. Thus Trump is being bad and Trump should lose his job for it.

The man spent so many years on relatively low government pay compared to millions of dollars he could have made in the private legal sector. As a US Marine, he was wounded in action in Vietnam. He was a public servant in every sense of the word. And now the president is celebrating his death. It's just so sad what has happened to public discourse in the US.
