Trump has previously demonstrated through his behavior that he considers himself above the G7 as seen in Canada in 2018. It seems that if he had the will he would simply dismantle it so it wouldn't interfere with his interests although that has never stopped him before.

Well South Africa isn't the most promising economy in Africa anymore. Kenya seems to be a better bet. Ethiopia is also rising fast. Also South Africa's standing has kind of dipped with all these corruption hits that you see in the news when googling the country's name. Seems they are nosediving, so it stands to argue that the outside world would prefer dealing with a more respectable African partner.

It used to be the G8 until Russia was kicked out for the illegal invasion of Ukraine. Why is the usa still in the G7? In the last few months it has illegally overthrowen the Venezuelan government, blockaded Cuba and caused a humanitarian crisis, bombed and murdered civilians and government officials in Iran, and Trump stated he will commit war crimes (bombing civilians and obliterating infrastructure). I'd rather have South African in the G7 and remove the usa
