If solid state batteries turn out to meet the claims, it will be fairly easy transition as far as transportation is concerned. Electrical infrastructure is the challenge. France certainly was smart in keeping their nuclear generation intact, unlike other countries.

Japan just shut them down from what I read, they are in the process of reinspecting and turning them back on. Germany buldozed them. Very different.
