Kenya is not the same as many other african countries - according to my former manager in Finance, she was from Kenya. She said that their country is moving in the right direction - not without challenges though.
They are Christian and in general try to take care of eachother

Kenya is not the sole target for the investment though.

Why did you have to mention that they are Christian? Muslim countries don't deserve foreign investment?

Well the muslims in North/central Africa do not really like France or christians, see Mali. France is trying to help the current moderate muslim goverment against extremists jihadi's but it's a struggle.

If it is something good we will have to see, if I know 1 thing from Africa from my friend that lives there, where there's money there is insane amount of corruption. So will the money actually reach and stay at the projects to develop the country and help the people, I doubt it...
Also how much is this genuine help over a PR move or some other agenda?

Africa has received trillions in aid and investment and yet most countries have seen very little development, precisely for this reason. The money doesn’t go where it’s suppose to
