They just landed on a US competitor list. Usually it doesn't end well for countries selling the same fossil fuels if they not already super powers.

It's miniscule on a global scale. This is 2 Tcf of gas. In comparison, Qatar has 800+ Tcf of gas which is why the closure of its LNG terminal is impacting global electricity prices. The US Marcellus shale has more than 2 Tcf of new gas reserves drilled and commercialised each year.

Good, so Europe won't simply change a supplier with another, but actually build a fossil fuel free infrastructure.

I doubt there are very undiscovered gas fields the size of Qatars at this point, if any at all.

The discovery of a tiny gas field off the coast of Egypt isn't going to make anyone reliant, not even Egypt itself.

Irans nuclear power , is not the oil. It's the fertilisers they control though the straits. Hole world will go hungry cause of  USA and Israel. For anyone blaming Iranians, I remind you that 2 days ago was threatened with " destruction of civilization" they do what they have to do.

Next step. Supply weapons and fund resistance group in Egypt to create chaos to make US daddy look like a saviour

I’d be rather worried with 2 US carrier groups in close vicinity 🤭

Good. This makes the strait of Hormuz less important and it also takes business away from Russia, Iran and Qatar.
