Hot shop glassblowing is one of the most physically demanding crafts I have tried. The heat is extreme. The glass moves constantly and you have about 90 seconds before it needs to go back in the furnace. On my first day I made a paperweight. By the end of a six week class I made a small vessel I was proud of.
