We do.
50% is our own.
35% is from Norway.
15% is from you!
The rest from elsewhere.
The ignorance of this buffoon is off the scale.

Have you considered sourcing that 15% from US sources from Canada instead?

It's variable. Some months it's 10% from the USA, 45% from the UK etc etc. Also different types are required. So the gap needs making up. The point being, the Straits of Hormuz being closed isn't the "gotcha" Trump thinks it is for the UK or the EU
IIRC, what passes through the Straits is 3% to the USA, 4% to Europe, 30% to China, 40% to Asia, 14% to India. But China has a huge reserve.

Yeah indeed, he's quite deranged. I feel pity for those across the pond and it's pretty shitty that his shenanigans are affecting us as well.

This is like opening a barn door in the middle of the night and shooing all the livestock out into the forest, then blaming the owner for not having locks on the barn and telling them they can go collect the loose critters themselves, at their own expense, while they are going without eggs and milk and the mules to pull the plow to plant the crop in a timely fashion.
and claiming, "if I hadn't chased them out, the barn might have spontaneously caught fire and killed them all, you should be thanking me."
