You cannot justify Trump's war. Calling Iran evil isn't enough.
In the eyes of the countries around the world, Trump is the real evil.

Trump isn´t evil. He isn´t some kind of demon. He´s the symptom of the rotten core of the american system.
That´s all he is. If it wasn´t Trump on the helm, it would be some other fucked up rapist. Look at his government. They ALL are like him to some degree.
The real problem is the american peoples inability to fight for their freedom.

After WWII the psychiatrist who interviewed the Nazi leaders at Nuremburg concluded there was nothing special in the German psychology that led them to try and exterminate an entire race with industrial murder machines, Americans could be led to do the same. Nobody wanted to hear that, but a number of later studies proved he was right (see Milgram Holocaust linkage for details). The key is to give the new Hitlers the ability to lie to the public and gain power. Once they have the power they just continue telling lies.

It isn’t even necessarily the system - it’s the propaganda machine that has stolen the minds of so many. We can’t even have productive conversations anymore because they’ve all been taught to regurgitate talking points without ever fully grasping the complexity of what they’re advocating for.

I agree with you except on one point. The Republican Party wasn't like this when Trump was elected the first time. Many in the party, including Vance and Rubio and Graham, were disgusted with Trump. Trump reshaped the party around himself and pushed out anyone who wasn't on board. If Hillary runs a better campaign, or if the Democrats hold a real primary that year instead of anointing her, if Comey doesn't pull his 11th-hour bullshit, we probably avoid this path and Republicans are forced to be, if not reasonable, at least rational, for a while longer.

Mostly horseshit. The Republicans and Trump are to blame. They chose to be a far right party and enough Americans bought the lies. The GOP and Trump are now objectively fascist. They have been and are the greatest threat.
F*** orange fascism and the people who try to shift blame.

One thing many of us learned in the period with the rise of Donald Trump is that literally every last thing Republicans say is a lie. Many of us already knew that hopefully most of us will soon.

All of these traitors need to be held accountable. As much as I despise the current Islamic regime, we are going about this without any clear plan which is putting everyone in danger.

Overthrowing the current Iranian regime to allow for a secular democracy? Absolutely. The fact that it’s a demented pedophile controlled by a genocidal war criminal means that likely isn’t going to happen.

There’s simply no plausible way for this to happen. It is, however, a fantastic way to radicalize generations of Iranians against the US.

You’re opposed to Iran having a secular democracy? Western intervention is what got us here especially when Iran wanted to take full control of it’s natural resources which is what motivated the British and Americans to intervene without thinking about the fallout.

No one wants to die in foreign wars, but the soldiers do not have much choice. The war mongers do not care because their loved ones are never sent to fight war, the resourceful ones find a way to get exemptions. The poor and the disadvantaged die in God forsaken lands.
Those who return injured are sometimes mocked for mental ailments they suffered and many fight just trying to get treatment and benefits until it is too late.

Trump has 2 options to win this war. Nuke Iran or complete occupation for the next 30 years. He can't leave. Iran will control the strait for decades and control the global economy. Trump did the one thing to ensure humans will finally be forced to stop relying on oil before it all ran out. "good job" I guess... Sure a billion people will likely die from starvation and war for the next 30 years, but at least global warming will slow down... 1billion to save 7billion. What a weird ass time line.

Hey relax, we know why Langford wants boots on the ground in Iran, it’s the same reason as to why the US got involved in the first place - Israel wants it.
Langford is a bought and paid for servant of a foreign government - Israel. His voting record tells the tail as does this little piece-
‘Senator James Lankford of Oklahoma has built a political career rooted in loyal support for Israel, amassing $365,560 from AIPAC to ensure his commitment to pro-Israel, anti-Palestinian legislation. His voting record paints a damning picture of someone who actively props up a military regime responsible for the genocide of Palestinians. In April 2024, Lankford voted to send Israel $41 billion in military aid with no conditions, all while the Israeli government continues its ruthless genocide campaign in Gaza and the West Bank. The projected death toll in Gaza, according to The Lancet, is expected to reach 180,000, a chilling reminder of the devastation Lankford’s policies helped fund.

Guess the Senator was so impressed with how well that went when jrbush tried it, he wants to try it again. jr's lies and macho BS cost us over 5000 dead and 33,000 wounded. In addition, Govt estimates have indicated 1 in 4 of the US troops who served in Iraq require medical assistance after they returned to civilian life. Since over 2 MILLION Troops served in Iraq, that;s 500,000 with serious medical problems after returning from the conflict. Oh yeeh, we also killed somewhere between 250K and 800K Iraqis - but I'm sure none of their family members would actively try and do damage to Americans whenever and however they can.
