"inappropriate activity". Did he give them a sip of his beer or curse in church?  What a way to say, "middle-age man tries to r*** a minor"

>*The man told investigators he thought the victim was 18 years old and denied knowing the girl was 15 years old.* The "wisdom" of a 42 year old online predator.

It's perfectly normal to pick up a legal adult in the middle of the night from their home, right?  I'm guessing while texting them you're there instead of knocking on the door as they sneak out of the house.  I've done that as a teenager, can't imagine doing it with a teenager while I'm in my 40s and feel like this is all above board - 15 OR 18.

Your statement is a bit class-coded here, me thinks. As a non-driver due to financial constraints, I, a 27 year old, have indeed been picked up by hookups since I reached the age of majority.  Not defending the creeper, of course. Just saying that’s not that unusual, bud.

But did they pick you up at 2 am while you snuck out of your house?  I don't think picking someone up is the issue, it's doing it during the middle of the night while trying to avoid the parents since you're 25+ years older that's sus.

Yes. When you live with a large family, you do what you need to have any sense of privacy.

Yes? This isn’t the creepy gotcha behavior you think it is.

Really? You feel a 40+ year old man picking up a 15 year old girl he met online sneaking out of her house at 2 AM isn't creepy behavior?  Maybe you should have a seat right over here.

they're talking about being picked up by a hookup and sneaking out, not the age difference a 27 year old picking up a hookup they're 25+ years older than would be problematic for more obvious reasons

Now now, let's not allow our biases and overwhelming historical evidence to cause us to jump to any hasty conclusions.

We let it simmer for some time and have concluded that, "Yes, he was a Republican."

We don't know for sure. But I'm willing to bet this wasn't a drag queen at a book reading.

What are the odds?

hematomabelly Apr 6, 2026 +7
Not likely but the amount of talk "drag queens grooming kids at book reading" from ohio Republicans is just ridiculous when it's been the usual suspect the whole time. Older men

"A 42-year-old Grand Blanc man is facing federal charges after authorities say he drove to Ohio to pick up a 15-year-old he met online and brought the teen back to a Mid-Michigan hotel The man told investigators he thought the victim was 18 years old and denied knowing the girl was 15 years old." He's 20 years too young and almost certainly not wealthy enough to have an 18 year old to show off at the country club, anyways

That depends on his financial status. If he's rich, he'll get a short time if any at all. If he's poor, he's locked for a long time.

Depends, even if he is poor but he knows a few powerful people and has some shit on them, then he can probably either get himself shanked or get out sooner.
