‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Shocker: Kevin McKidd and Kim Raver to Exit Series After Season 22 Finale

The most shocking part is how many times they broke up and got back together. They did it even in this season again.

McKidd is a GREAT actor. I can't believe he's been on the show this long. Hopefully now he can do some stuff again that reminds us of how good he can be with the right material.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. When they went on the run in Mexico after he got in trouble for helping soldiers commit suicide, they could have made a whole new amazing show featuring them and their family. Something like Breaking Bad or Ozarks but with them being forced into being cartel doctors.

This show ended when they sent Christina away. Everything went to shit thereafter. Derek died. Callie and Robins got divorced. Covid. Alex left. Owen somehow remained the worst part that still existed. Idk how to feel about this stretched out tv show. The OG grey’s was the shit. Bombs, LVAD wires, Drownings, Cancer, Shooting, Car crash, Plane Crash. We lived through it ALL. Now it’s just ew.

I started watching from the beginning a few months ago. I'm currently on s19. It has progressively gotten worse and frankly boring. The latest batch of residents is mediocre at best and one is such a bad actor I almost have to fast forward through his scenes (he was definitely cast for his abs). Teddy and Hunt should have exited a long time ago. I'm not even sure why Teddy came back...it's not like she's had a must see storyline.

The most shocking part that show is still running. I though it ended like 15 years ago.

The way they kept bringing these terrible characters back again and again made me stop watching the show. Kevin McKidd is great but the character of Owen was truly awful from start to finish. Absolutely horrible. And Teddy had so much potential at the start but the writers just ruined her completely. Such a waste of two good actors. Their exit might make me start watching again!

Finally, they’ve been unbearable for many seasons. When they finally seem to be happy separated they’ve thrown back together by lazy writing

Freaking YES!!!!! He is the ONLY CHARACTER that I’ve spent season finale after season finale hoping he will be killed off… And she’s not much better. Insufferable. Both of them.

good, they're among my least favorites, wasn't happy when teddy came back a few years ago. still not caught up but made a lot of progress a year and again a couple weeks ago. did it parallel with station 19, which I'm glad I gave a second chance to when characters started appearing in grey, such a great show. season 18 of grey was pretty weak but 19 and 20 with the 5 new residents were cool, and once this season ends, I can finally catch up.

JESUS CHRIST FINALLY THANK GOD. I've been a professional Owen and Teddy hater since way back. I think they just had no vision for these two and have been fumbling them for season after season and it's gotten so annoying. Good riddance.

Good, I hate this story line. I don’t know spoiler format on mobile but I need to vent. Let’s get a divorce because we had an open relationship that was used and then have sex immediately after the papers are signed. Then use the divorce as an excuse to “see other people” when clearly the relationship isn’t over for either. Now we get weeks of “moving on” from a very messy break-up. I said it last night catching up, I hope something bad happens to her character. She can just lay there.

I do not watch this show but I am forced to listen to it while my wife does. Even I am tired of these two breaking up and falling right back into f****** within like 2 episodes of saying they are finished with each other. Put them out of my misery.

Hunt has been through it over and over. Remember when Yang left him? Or teddy cheated on their wedding day? He also had his Amelia era. Bro needs to stay single.

It blows my mind how many shows deserved a season 2 or 3 and never got one. Meanwhile another medical drama with ridiculous scenarios gets 22 seasons.

Is this the only show that attempted a soft reboot with new cast members? When they brought in the new interns that mirrored the original cast, I couldn’t help but think of a soft reboot.

I'll always root for Kevin McKidd, he was in Trainspotting, in Rome, and voiced Soap in the OG Modern Warfare games. If that's how he gets his bag of money, then so be it. I wish he would've spent the past 20 years doing something more manly and violent. This guy should have been in major British movies and tv shows alongside Daniel Craig, Tom hardy, and Stephen Graham.
