This tracks, every Mahjong club i've ever seen in the US has been almost entirely elderly white ladies.

It’s Hallmark, their movies are all extremely white, heterosexual and have very simple plots, the fact that there is a half-Chinese actor in this one almost feels like progress

The woke hate Asians.  Did you see the street fighter movie where they tried really hard for diversity, but made sure to replace Ken with a white guy?   The only thing the woke and the maga agree on is the Asian peril.

Hollywood in general does that. I first noticed it with horror movies but even the departed was a remake of a Japanese movie.
