End of the week is a long way away at the moment in the Middle East.....

We'll have a lot of shit by the end of this week from Iran being burned, Lebanon still being invaded, missiles rain on the Gulf and Israel, and war on Gaza potentially start again. A lot of disasters.

Jae_Rides_Apes 4 days ago +2
Almost doesn’t even make sense they would wait until the end of the week. Might as well just do it with the distraction of whatever heinous shit we’ve got planned tomorrow.

I can't believe Israel is that optimistic about Trump's deadline someplace else..

You know religion is cancer when the ambition of being a martyr for a god is far greater than protecting the current civilians in Gaza from further bombardment. It's like if the Japan Empire went "Lol Nah" after being nuked twice.
25
Delta27- 3 days ago +1
I mean they were about to go 'lol nah' and thats why they were nuked.... they were getting the population ready to die to the last one
1
FedBySheep 3 days ago +1
Do you think Iran or Palestine would give up if a nuke was dropped on a couple of their cities? I'm gonna guess not, but who knows. Would likely just be a lot of innocents killed, and radiation spread, for nothing.
1
Delta27- 3 days ago +3
Well first of all palestine is not ready the one to give up as they are rpetty much forced by the different religious groups posing as 'gouverment party' so they likely will die to the last one. But iran will. The clerics and people in charge are already rich have stolen a lot of money they would run to russia and enjoy it. Ofc japan surrendered only after us pardoned the royal family for the crimes and probabaly would happen the same in iran

Israel won't withdraw with Hamas still in power nor should it

Ultra_Metal 3 days ago +1
Yep. Withdrawing in 2005 was a huge mistake that led to Oct. 7.

I wonder what these precious angels who have contributed so much to the betterment of the Palestinian people, who are supported by the IRGC, will decide to do?
5
PhantasmologicalAnus 4 days ago +5
I hope they refuse, so they can be dealt with in the appropriate manner.

macross1984 4 days ago +9
Even with all the beatings Hamas took, I still doubt they will disarm without another fight. Otherwise, Hamas without teeth is Hamas not worth existing as terrorists.

With so many deadlines all around, I think I need to start setting reminders on my phone.
3
albatrossSKY 4 days ago +12
Theres zero chance they actually accept this. Disarmament is basically an unconditional surrender for them. This feels more like setting the groundwork to say they tried everything before the next phase of the offensive starts

Fake_Citizen 4 days ago +49
This was in the ceasefire deal. Hamas must disarm or the ceasefire ends. Either they surrender or Gaza is about to get bombed into the ground, again. And this time, Israel, US will be truly unhinged and their gulf neighbours will close both eyes because Hamas = IRGC = enemy

yosisoy 4 days ago +27
Right, people (or bots?) will write walls of text but this is literally in the agreement.

Weird cause this article says they’ve violated it 2000+ times  https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2025/11/11/how-many-times-has-israel-violated-the-gaza-ceasefire-here-are-the-numbers
-9
FedBySheep 3 days ago +7
Both sides have been violating the ceasefire, but it has quite evidently been a much lower scale of conflicit since the agreement. Ceasefire does not at all guarantee there is zero conflict, but it hopefully minimises it, and it appears to have done that. So if you're going to link an obviously biased article, I hope you recognize how manipulative the chart and narrative they provide are.

Counter claim but no counter source.

FedBySheep 2 days ago +1
Firstly, your source is 'the Government Media Office in Gaza', so we can take that with a truck of salt. You may take Hamas' words at face value, but most sensible people do not. I don't think there's an equivalent 'we're gonna tally violation count' article from the other camp, but here's an example of better, more meaningful content: https://www.longwarjournal.org/archives/2025/11/palestinian-terrorists-broke-gaza-ceasefire-6-times-from-november-7-to-12-idf-says.php

They should surrender before they drag Gaza back into war. They lost the war, surrender
61
Dark_World_Blues 4 days ago +29
They should, but they probably won't. I think they are more interested in taking down Israelis than saving Palestinians.

>This feels more like setting the groundwork to say they tried everything before the next phase of the offensive starts ... Have they not? What more can Israel do? How do you deal with a neighbor whose founding ethos is "you're all evil Satan spawn and our only purpose is your eradication by any means"? They've tried diplomacy, they've tried giving back land, but at the end of the day, the only thing Hamas will accept is "no more Israel", and until that happens, they're gonna keep attacking. What option does Israel have besides "get rid of Hamas by force"?

Ajenthavoc 4 days ago -45
How many more hospitals, schools and universities can they bomb? How many more children can they bury under rubble? How many more orphans can they create feeding forward this cycle of hate, oppression, and resistance? How much more of a pariah can they become? When their ethos is an ethno religious supremacy state, this is the inevitable outcome. Either way, they're just grasping for a decisive win somewhere. Anywhere. And the best bet is the pile of rubble that is Gaza. In reality all they're actually doing is rallying more of the world against them and extending this quagmire.

yosisoy 4 days ago +32
Maybe, just maybe, Hamas can keep the ceasefire agreement and disarm? It's right there.

Poor, innocent Hamas.. always getting tricked by Israel

We'll see. Israel has been the one to break ceasefires more than anyone else. Always moving the goalposts. They're now on the ringer. We'll see what happens in the next 2 wks

Have they tried not burning houses in the west bank?
-42
TheGazelle 4 days ago +31
You do realize Hamas does not control the West Bank, right? If you're gonna be morally outraged about a topic, you should at least do the most basic level of research to understand what it is you're being outraged about.
31
LebIsZeb 4 days ago -37
You do realize hamas called Oct 7 'Al Aqsa flood'? If you're gonna defend occupation and killing babies, you should at least do the most basic level of research to understand that outrage does not stop at the west bank's border.

Is Al Aqsa in the west bank? Or even actually being threatened
9
BobtheBobio 4 days ago +6
It was almost hit by an Iranian rocket, so yes.
6
Elegantsurf 4 days ago +15
It would have been peak irony if a Hamas rocket hit it but the conspiracy theories would have been too much and they still would have blamed Israel somehow.

You are correct, israel has been a stellar neighbor and has never violated any agreements. Ben Gvir is an absolutely commendable individual. I stand corrected, thank you for your question. It has made me realize how misguided I've been.

insurgencies when you don't hold 100% of the ground with ground troops are really hard to combat, hell even when you do get as close as possible to do that they still would be.
16
Ajenthavoc 4 days ago -4
How much harder would it be to do this while having an open massive front in the north and while receiving dozens of missile strikes a day from 3 different fronts?

-35
CurryAndCommunism 4 days ago -41
Even setting aside the last 80yrs of history, given everything Gazans have been through in the last 3yrs why would they agree to a disarmament? They're just gonna trust their exterminators to keep their end of the bargain and surrender any possible means of self defense to the people who've destroyed their homes and starved and killed their family members?
-41
yosisoy 4 days ago +32
Nothing says self defense like abducting children and elderly civilians from their beds, and teens from music festivals.
32
PhantasmologicalAnus 4 days ago +19
Yeah, I feel dreadfully sorry for all the civilians that took part in helping hide the hostages and supporting Hamas for decades. How were they to know their actions could have consequences?

Too many Americans have fallen victim to Iran's very effective propaganda machine...
33
ImAjustin 4 days ago +16
Yes. It’s that or continue certain destruction for you and your people. Israel hasn’t exterminated them in 80 years despite having the ability to do so for maybe 40+ years. Maybe diplomacy has a better chance than continue to fight a losing war. If you remove Israel’s justification, they might have a chance.
16
GlassBit7081 4 days ago +15
It's crazy that its not even diplomacy it's just stop attacking Israel. Keep hating Israel and factor your entire government and education system to hate Israel. That's fine. Just don't actually launch attacks against the people primarily suplying you with water and energy
