Don't get me wrong. We are spoiled for choice when it comes to strong contenders. For example, we have Brad Pitt and George Clooney, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, Kevin Hart and Duane Johnson, Russel Crowe and Ryan Gosling (unless I'm the only one that's seen The Nice Guys), Jodie Foster and Anthony Hopkins.
And then of course we have the legends, Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder, and also Robert Redford and Paul Newman. And there are many more.
But for me, I think it's Lemon and Matthau. Just pure magic.
What do you guys think?
The Thin Man is such a great series, my guy friends were in love with Myrna Loy immediately.

That and it's a slow burn, comedy, murder mystery that takes place on a train. It's got some fantastic action set pieces but I don't think enough for today's audiences. Not a slight, BTW. I also think the whole thing would be done with CGI because I can imagine it would be incredibly expensive to make today.

There seems to be a common denominator in these three comments...
I'd also like to point out that he had great chemistry with Randy Quaid and Bill Murray in Kingpin (one of my favorite "turn my brain off and laugh" movies.)

I’ve gotta say that DiCaprio - for all his big movie star profile and clout , and until more recently, his way of choosing “the star” roles - is a really great acting partner: he makes his partners look good, gives them space to excel, and supports with good reactions. I doubt he’s that fun a hang but he’s probably great to work with, especially for actors. Tarantino and Scorsese have both noted this and made it a foundation in their work with him.

I made a post about Ferrell and John C. Reilly, but even beyond this, it’s amazing how well Will Ferrell has partnered with so many other people. Just off the top of my head, he had great notable two-person chemistry with Cheri Oteri, Chris Kattan, Chris Parnell, Molly Shannon, Danny McBride, and Mark Wahlberg.
And of course great ensemble comedic chemistry like Anchorman, Zoolander, Old School, etc.
I know it’s been fashionable to hate on Will Ferrell for like 10-15 years but he really is one of the best.

I think their chemistry is in great part due to how professionals approached the acting craft back in the day. As well as the writing of very specifically, Neil Simon.
