For me, the show in question is Severance.
Since I was a teen (32 now), I always wished I could simply sleep forever, never having to be conscious again, while an identical version of me could do everything for me, since I am very lazy and unmotivated, and don't feel like doing much of anything. My friends, family, coworkers, etc. would be none the wiser as to my death, so that there would be no pain and suffering in my absence. This identical version of me would be hardworking, successful, highly motivated to succeed, be a family man with a wife and kids, etc. In other words, I have always wanted the glory without the work.
Can you relate to this feeling?
You watch Shameless. That was basically my family lol

Ideas are a dime a dozen. Having the idea isn’t anything tbh. I’m writing a thing right now and someone else came out with a book last week that’s a similar topic and part of me is like oh no, it’s the same thing, like they stole my idea, but they didn’t. Ideas are c****. How you execute on the idea is what’s priceless. I’m actually excited that the other book is out cause it means there’s an audience for mine, too. How I make my thing is wholly unique to me.

When I was younger, I remember going to a zoo and seeing the wooden blocks to mixmatch animal parts together. It made me think of a game where you could take various animal parts and make whatever creature you'd want. All you would need is to define what the legs were, head, eyes, arms, and so forth. I thought about it for a few years, talked about my ideas with my parents, and started learning basic programming. Then I heard about Spore, and watched the video of an aquatic creature swimming around and collecting yellow orbs.
It's a shame the development of the game was influenced and rushed, because at the time it was my dream game coming true. I still MOSTLY enjoyed it. But it was a shame how clearly it was rushed to get into the space stage, and then how... unsatisfying that was.
It's nice to know Seven Ducks Studio is working on Elysian Eclipse, a spiritual successor of Spore. They're taking the original vision of the game, and pouring as much effort into it as possible. Looks like that dream game of mine will eventually get made.

No, but I imagine a TV show where I think of a concept for a TV show before it comes out and becomes famous, and kick myself for not making the show myself when I first thought of it.

Producer: "Why would I watch it?"
Creator: "Because it's on TV!"
Producer: "Not yet, it isn't."
