Heading into midterms, NCGOP faces mounting backlash from its conservative base

As a conservative, ethics and morality don't mean anything to me. My pastor taught me that. What does matter is I want corporations to be able to bribe officials. Any limitation on how much a company can pay a politician should be illegal. I want the floodgates of bribery to be open, 24/7. I know those things don't benefit me or my family. But they really seem to piss off the Demonrats. That's why I vote.

The goal for Democrats shouldn’t be to just win in 2028. It should be to so thoroughly destroy the conservative movement that they become politically irrelevant for the century it takes to reckon with the short-term impacts of climate change
