The ouster of Gen. Randy George is just the latest of more than a dozen firings of top generals and admirals by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth since he first took office last year.

We going boots on ground and it's going to be a clusterfuck that makes the Iraq war look like a masterstroke

Its gonna be Klendathu. The scene where the bugs are ripping people and body parts are flying everywhere. Except the bugs are drones, and the bodies will be Americans livestreamed in high def as they die for the vanity of a pedophile.

Should have had multiple resignations from every service by now. The willingness from the general officer cadre to wait him out or wait and see will be studied in Military Universities and Academies for decades. The ease at which Trump cabinet stepped over the norms of international law and our constitution should scare people. Shame on the Republican Congress for allowing Trump to act like a king. The blood is on their hands.

He thinks a war will stop the election and thinks people will forget about his friend Epstein. They already control the USPS, which we now know they will likely stop funding months prior or tell them to stop delivering mail. I’ll be dropping off my ballot early.

I think the current plan for USPS is for the feds to create a list of voters who are allowed to vote by mail, otherwise the ballot won't be delivered. Which, of course, is a way to ensure only people who can be relied on to vote the "right away" can use mail in ballots. This way they can ensure voters in rural areas can vote but put obstacles on city folk. Taking "rules for thee but not for me" to the extreme

Thats why the lists from the states was important. Dumbass Americans actually declare R or D, so their likely affiliation is right there with their name.

Jae_Rides_Apes Apr 3, 2026 +2
You do realize that primary elections are at least as important as general elections, if not more, and some states are closed primary where you have to register your party to partake, *right?*

See NSPM-7. This is why every one is labeled a “domestic terrorist” It’s beyond just mail in ballots, it’s who can vote full stop. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hKvBzvVYlKw

neuropathy_man Apr 2, 2026 +25
I’m 100% sure he was against what was happening in Iran, including past & upcoming war crimes. So a political hack will take his place, and make everyone involved subject to being tried in The Hague. Disgusting.

The only way we have any chance of getting some semblance of soft power back is by putting ourselves under the jurisdiction of the ICC again. All the concessions we will have to make, it will be a bitter pill to swallow.

Stranger-Sun Apr 3, 2026 +2
Much as they deserve it, we aren't a party to the Rome Statute that founded the ICC, so they aren't going unless they are sent by a force from outside the US.

This is a bingo, The adults in the room are being shouted out of it by screaming toddlers and I fear by the time they scream themselves out the room will be torched to the ground.

Title should be, TV Talk show host tells Senior U.S Service member to quit because he knows more than TV HOST.

Everyone, take a moment to read about his Army career: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Randy_George Now, people can hold many opinions about matters of the military but you'd be reaching to say that this individual was anything but qualified for his position. This is simple. He did not agree with whatever they are planning to do next. Where's the line of exposing their plans and putting his former subordinates in danger? Hard one. I hope he finds a way to convey to the public is objections either directly or through someone else.

Every time they fire someone at this level, I am amazed that there are still any competent people left. I guess they’re working on that pesky little problem.

ElysiumSprouts Apr 2, 2026 +2
10 bucks says the officer told Hegseth he's a pinhead or perhaps something worse, but equally applicable. But also, will he actually step down? "Being asked" implies he has a choice... but maybe that's a fake choice between honorable discharge and dishonorable discharge?
2
metsjets86 Apr 2, 2026 +1
Show some of that honor I hear about and make them fire you. Don't make it easier for them to destroy the country.
