Why is it that Martha Stewart was sent to prison for insider trading while these people are allowed to do the exact same thing? I guess some people are "Above the Law". Elections can correct this.

She made a huge mistake of not stealing enough and showing shame. They get away with it by being insanely criminal with no shame. That sort of thing is worshipped in this country

No. She did the crime of being a woman doing a man's crime. And not doing the crime with all the rest of the people in charge.
Just like Maddoff got in trouble for screwing over rich people, not just the scheme.

She didn't go to jail for insider trading she went to jail for lying to the fbi
"Stewart was found guilty by the jury of eight women and four men on all four remaining counts: conspiracy, obstruction of justice, and two counts of making false statements to a federal investigator." Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ImClone_stock_trading_case

Elections can't correct this by themselves, there has to be a national push to get money out of politics. Unfortunately, with the current corrupted Court, there's no chance since it is acting like an extension of the Trump Admin and not as part of the 3rd branch of government that is supposed to ensure the rights and freedoms of the American People.

Lmao Martha didn't have the power to send soldiers to their graves, cut off world aid, or lock up people in concentration camps.
We're fucked.

If we want to be pedantic she went to jail for lying to the FBI. Now of course, the Trump administration lies in court and to law enforcement day in and day out but it’s different I guess.

Did you read the article? The trade was not processed, and if it had been processed, he would have lost 12% to date.
A bit difficult to convict someone for insider trading on a losing trade which never happened.

No one said he was smart or hired good peole. Insider trading doesn't guarantee profit, especially in a market prices by hopes and dreams.

Remember when the GOP tried to say Biden committed fraud by co-signing on a truck for Hunter, and made 3 whole payments of barely over a thousand on it? They sure loved screaming about that "corruption". I wonder how long it will take for them to call out this actual corruption.

Especially Pelosi and other Congress are so good at insider trading that they have created these ETFs to shadow their trading
Both ETFs, NANC and KRUZ, will have one simple objective — to help you follow the trades of both Democrat and Republican members of Congress and their spouses. The

Coming up with new reasons to murder brown people so they can stuff a few more dollars in their pockets. These people are as morally disgusting as any "terrorist" out there. Some of them even have the gall to do it in Jesus's name.

So …. Canadian here. Aside from the clear insider trading (attempt) issue ….. can the FT sue the speaker for the Pentagon for liable/slander? I would grab my popcorn for that one.

Only Pelosi, and the lawmakers in the legislative branch, Congress are allowed to insider trade.
