Translation: Man who has no idea what he is doing fires man that knows exactly what the army can and can't do.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. I figures it's all typical ego bullshit from a weak poser

The most dangerous thing that could happen to Pete Hegseth is a good idea.

So this guy was trying to prevent as much damage as possible. He was refusing to keep minorities and women off the promotion list for general. This is one of the key areas why he got fired.
He wasn't down with only promoting dumb white guys.

Pete Hegseth is stacking senior officers like the administration did with federal court judges, and he wants the army to be controlled by southern states that support his bullshit lost cause.

Interesting tidbit reported without comment here:
> Mr. Hegseth also fired Maj. Gen. William Green Jr., the Army’s top chaplain, an official said.

Wow that's crazy. I guess God disagrees with Hegseth as well. It's really troubling that this guy has ended up in this position when he is totally unqualified.

That's definitely a sign of stability while prosecuting a war of aggression

He most likely warned against using ground troops in Iran. But the Hegseth Trump team is too smart for generals.

I actually think it’s related to the suspending the kid rock helicopter guys

That may have been enough, but I was thinking that the reason the morons haven’t sent our kids to die in an invasion is because we still had some sane people in charge of our military. I’m betting that’s a big dispute among the top brass, and Hegseth Trump need a guy to rubber stamp it.

All the chiefs should resign in solidarity. Maybe all the generals, en masse. That would certainly send an incredibly strong message and maybe even get through to the big orange turd that Hogsbreath is a useless waste of oxygen.

I get the sentiment, but why throw away a 40 year career over someone who’s at most going to only be around for less than 3 more years.
The general officers need to stay around to continue keeping the guardrails in place as much as possible. Once the orange shit stain and alcoholic Saturday morning Faux host are gone, we’ll need them to rebuild what ever if left of the U.S. military.

In that case, what does a general do when given an illegal order or asked to commit a war crime?
What if you are given a broad war crime order such as “we are going to begin targeting civilians in Iran” and he tells all the generals that?
Should they go along with that?
As you said, this guy is only here for 3 years… but those war crimes will last past that.

Make no mistake -- Trump firing Bondi was meant as a clear message to the rest of the cabinet to get to work *"or else..."*

I think the Southpark portrayal of Captain Pete is one of the most accurate spot on parodies they've ever done.
We don't stand down for anyone, be sure to like and subscribe bark bark bark bark bark.
And, in case you didn't identify all of his "medals" you have
* The busy bee medal (hanging around his neck with the bee engraved on it)
* A generic Kinko's qualify engraved nametag
* A medal that looks like the Linkedin logo
* Generic gold star medal
* The keg medal (a nod to his nickname of Kegsbreath)
* A toy sheriff's badge from old western movies
* Youtube play button
* A blue octagon with stars to denote influencer status
* A five pointed star to solidify his status as chief influencer.
The only real medal on his uniform is at the bottom, a German Iron Cross, which also references one of his more prominent tattoos.
And his "crop" is a selfie stick.
Just push the secret button in the floor right there, you'll have to lean way over to see it.

You would think they would compartmentalize appointed idiots (including the president) getting to fire whomever they want. That's one way we get the whole corrupt shit show in the first place.
