The man is a wonder. How he manages to sound drunk, angry and foolish every time he makes a public statement would be impressive under any other circumstances.

It's as if every insecure 12 y.o. who identified a little too much with his GI Joe dolls became SecDef.
The little-d*** energy coming off him is truly breathtaking.

For real. I'd probably find a way to support my kid even if he turned out to be a serial killer. (It's all my fault; he has a mental illness; etc.)
But Pete's mom was like: "Bro, you ***suck***!" It's hard to even fathom. lol

Nothing more Christ-like than peace and tolerance. Stormfront Christians, AKA MAGA, are perfectly fine with ultraviolence, racism, and xenophobia—also an extreme tolerance for any misdeeds done by any of their leaders, up to and including r*** and child trafficking.

I'm not a believer, but I attended 13 years of Catholic school and was dragged to mass weekly by my grandmother. I have vague memories of Jesus NOT being pro-violence., but I guess I just don't know the bible as well as Petey does.

I honestly think he may be dumber than Trump, at least in some ways. Trump has some minor media skills -- used for evil, but he possesses them.
But Hegseth -- despite spending his career on camera -- cannot speak in public without sounding deranged. Like, literally every single time. It's amazing when you think about it.

So we can't reasonably attack Kharj Island with no plan for the aftermath, no solutions for the repercussions of out-of- sight oil prices. It is a trophy. The mission seems to be evolving day to day. The Pentagon has to keep coming up with a plan to satisfy Donald. What a mess "we" have gotten ourselves into. Again

Hmm, is that faithful to Jesus?..."Jesus said, If you love me, you will keep my commandments:
love your enemies, love your neighbor as yourself, do unto others as you would have them do unto you, forgive seventy times seven, turn the other cheek, bless those who persecute you, do good to those who hate you, welcome the stranger, feed the poor, do not judge lest you be judged, the first shall be last and the last shall be first, woe to you who are rich, put away your sword, blessed are the peacemakers, blessed are the merciful, blessed are the meek."
Uh, nope. I guess Hegseth has no love for Jesus.

I'm not Catholic, but I was raised in it and I don't know ANY actual Catholic who would be down with this, even among Trump supporters.
I have plenty of issues with the Roman church, but they generally get it right when it comes to "war = bad."
ETA: Even among my Catholic friends who are Republicans, 95% of them despise Trump and his enablers. This is largely a fundie problem, not a Catholic one.
