If ICE were law enforcement, they would follow the rules of law enforcement. They don't follow those rules because they are trump's pet, and nobody commands trump's pet besides trump.

It is incredible how people here keep talking about ICE, while ICE is already funded, and the people they are really harming are TSA, FEMA, CISA, and the Coast Guard.

It is very cynical. Holding hostage the livelihood of thousands of people, forcing them to work for free, just to try to leverage something that they very well know will never get. In this fight, Dems have 0 leverage, Trump couldn't care less about the thousands of DHS employees who do 0 ICE work because he already has funding for ICE. He can always force them to work for free, and if they can’t feed their families well, too bad. Dragging this thing, to eventually cave in to a dumb strategy.
