I guess saudis will be buying more Audis then. Remembered [this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lqJDuZIcQ34) video from many years ago.

It’s all fun and games until the Bab al-Mandeb closes and Saudi becomes landlocked.

That’s true. However, let’s say they want to ship to India. Up the Suez, west to Gibraltar, all the way around Africa, then to India.

India is buying from Iran already. But either way why would they care who buys it, they'll sell it to anyone and at better margins

I picked India because they’re Saudi’s nearest big customers. The 3 countries that buy more than India are China, South Korea, and Japan. They’re all in the same direction.

And captain orange thought Iran would surrender in a few days, what an idiot. Now oil can potentially increase to levels we've never seen before

He loves using hyperbolic rhetoric like "prices weve never seen" lol. "They've never seen gas prices like this, the HIGHEST gas prices, some say."

There are now a lot of countries wanting the straight open and willing to make it work. Iran is trying to use the straight as political stance to try and move countries against the US. France had harsh words for the US, so Iran let at least one of their tankers through. It is still to early if other European nations will also follow suite and criticize the US now for their own greed.

FAFO, Trump pissed off allies for more than a year (including military threats) imposed idiotic tariffs (that ultimately damaged the US more than the designated targets), and lastly started a war without a real victory condition without consulting allies, without a proper preparation and without a clear and reachable victory condition. Now this is likely to turn in worlwide economic and political crisis and you think is about "greed" ? It's about protecting their own national interests (at last).

Trump has always been saying c*** things that piss off people including US allies. He drives people to oppose him because of his rhetoric. The French people overall are one of the first ones to oppose anybody just because. The French has done a lot to help the US in the past, but then again Ben Franklin was a well liked individual.

There's no greed here. The US was threatening a european country with annexation. Why would they keep helping the US?
