Hot take: TypeScript has made JavaScript development worse

Not because TypeScript is bad. It's great. But because the ecosystem now produces libraries where the type definitions are wrong, outdated, or missing, and you spend more time fighting types than writing logic. Also tsconfig has too many options and everyone's setup is different.
