The gop clearly hates the TSA, and America. Cant believe how unsafe theyd make us during a war they started.

This one comes straight from Trump, I'm sure.
They need their voter destruction act to eradicate the midterms and protect Trump from the inevitable.

He’s even said as much. It’s blatantly out in the open that they are trying to steal the election.

Feckless coward and boot-licker, Mike Johnson, caving to the whims of President Bone-Spurs, rather than serving the needs of his own constituents.
Why does the GOP hate the TSA... and America?

TSA Is getting paid. Trumpster signed a memo to head of DHS telling him to pay them. The rest of DHS is out of luck for at least two more weeks. It’s mind blowing.

Well, the president doesn’t control the purse legally.

Literally has not stopped him, he did it last year too to pay troops during the shutdown by shuffling money ear marked somewhere else by congress. After that happened congress normalized it and abdicated their power and responsibilities to the executive cause Mike Johnson is a p****.

I'm curious to see how they will try to pin this down on the Democrats, after the Senate overwhelmingly voted for this bill.

Mikes speech said exactly that. D’s fault, it was hilarious it’s YOUR fault Mike, you got a bipartisan bill from the senate.

And the HUGE amount of bots on social media continue pushing the "It's the Democrats fault," no matter how many bills they pass or support to fund the TSA.

More like greed and self preservation against a system you don’t really think will ever change

I'd have thought that self preservation would tell them to remove trump.

Starving, but not out of work. The threat is that if they stop going to work, then officers will start collecting them to go to work. They don't have the legal right to quit or even not show up. I really hope this shutdown doesn't get to the point that TSA is made 5o work at gun point.

Death, taxes, and house republicans voting against a deal their own party in the senate actually agreed to. at this point, the "partial" government shutdown is basically just a recurring subscription service i never signed up for but keep paying for with my sanity. can't wait for the inevitable 2 am frantic vote three days after the deadline when everyone realized that, surprise, federal employees actually like getting paid.

The Republicans have always felt that if they can't get 100% of what they want they refuse to agree to anything.
Compromise is simply not in their nature.

Mikey knows what he's doing. He's a Federalist Society hack who's only job is to aid Trump in the destruction of the USA so that it can be parceled and sold off to the highest bidders.
