Stop bullying yourself. Look at yourself in the mirror. Talk out loud. Do things you love to do. At the very least, you have to spend the rest of your life with you. Might as well be good company.

Lots of rewiring and rebuilding of self-value (which can improve self confidence). Just to name a couple..

Start by getting used to it.

I'm used to it. I've never been uncomfortable being alone in my life.

I love being alone! I like having my time split between various levels of interaction and solitude. I’d say find hobbies you enjoy doing alone.

Share a space with someone you don't like for a while then living alone becomes real easy.

Stop treating it like loneliness and start treating it like freedom.

I think of how I feel more alone when I'm with other people vs when I'm actually alone, and it helps me feel less alone.

Treat yourself like your best friend. When you spend time with yourself, you’ll feel like you’re with your best friend. Treat yourself. Give yourself some TLC. Psych yourself up. That’s how you get comfortable being alone.

I thrive on being alone. It’s my only chance to relax and recharge.

It was a natural fit. I've been told that a little of me goes a long way.

Distractions. Find a hobby really. For myself it is running, reading books, chatting with friends (moved away so I keep in touch electronically).
