How do you keep track of upcoming TV show releases across different platforms?

Posted by TheBusBoy12369

With so many shows spread across Netflix, HBO, Apple TV+, etc., I keep missing new seasons or episodes unless I actively check. I’ve tried a few apps/sites, but they either feel cluttered, push recommendations too aggressively, or require accounts I don’t really want to create. Out of frustration, I ended up building a small tool for myself that just: * tracks shows I care about * shows upcoming episodes/releases in one place * keeps things simple and private Curious how others here handle this—do you use anything specific, or just rely on memory / social media? If anyone’s interested, I can share what I built, but mostly just looking for better ways to stay on top of releases.

It’s ridiculously easy. Just add shows to your watch list and they show up on the calendar. Been a VIP member with them for years. Great service to track shoes.

I have a notebook with a list of everything I watch, and upcoming new shows I want to check out, and I check epguides regularly to see the dates.

Surprised nobody has mentioned it yet, but I use the side bar of this sublistnook. It has all the major release dates and a link to their trailers as well as the platform they are on. I usually only have a few shows to keep track of, and the release days are usually sunday or wednesday. the times where i had more than i could keep track of I just marked on my windows system calendar. I also book mark the shows directly to the url of that show and I often title the bookmark the name of the show and the day it airs. So like "The Boys - wed", and that bookmark goes directly to the show on that site. A lot of people probably use mobile or some shit, so I guess you don't see it over there. You need to manually look at it in that case. But some mod whatever keeps a pretty reliable list of all the major upcoming shows and their platforms. It is also how I learn about shows I had no knowledge of.

I have a friend who is obsessive about tv and movies and media in general. I rely on him to let me know what’s happening. Hell, it’s hard to get him to shut up about it.

thats the best solution, but idk i don't have a friend with same taste in series as me.
