I tell myself I'll go to bed early, then end up in a Wikipedia rabbit hole about something completely useless like the history of elevators. By the time I look up it's 1am and I have zero regrets and full knowledge of Otis Elevator Company.

I usually listen to some music before bed to help me sleep better. Thinking too much makes it difficult to fall asleep.

Get baked, watch TV, snack a little, then get ready for bed. Helps me decompress from the day.

I'm literally doing it while speaking these words into the microphone on my cell phone into the Listnook reply box. At the same time, like always, I have one hand on my cat, who is lying up against my leg purring. That's how I fall asleep. I turn off my phone, roll over, and cuddle my kitty kitty.

I usually fall asleep pretty fast after getting in bed. Just before that do a good oral care routine. Make sure my alarms are set, put a YouTube sleep video on my desktop computer that has black screen. Put drops in my ears that help with itchy ears, get under the covers and put my cpap machine on. I leave my phone charging downstairs in my living room. Keeps me from picking it up to doom scroll.

Gaming or watching youtube videos. I usually end up falling asleep to a youtube video, and the crazy thing is that these aren't white noise or "x topic to help you fall asleep" videos. They're just regular videos in my sub box that I clicked on with the intention of watching it through before going to bed
