In the year of our lord 2026 we need to stop clicking on headlines about “MAGA Divides” and “MAGA Civil Wars”
We’ve heard this how many dozens of times over the past decade? After Trump/Putin in Helsinki. After 1/6. When polls in 2023 and early 2024 showed many Republicans claiming they wouldn’t vote for a convicted felon. When these people supposedly had a problem with rapists and pedophiles.
Remember what Hillary said about these people being deplorable *and irredeemable*. Remember what Maya Angelou said about believing people when they show you who they are.

It happened but the people who leave aren't MAGA, they're the Independents and self-described centrists who are now all voting Democrat. The problem is the ideologues are all people who love what Trump signs but hate how stupid he makes them look doing it.

It’s a total identity crisis for the movement. One side wants America First to mean staying out of every foreign fight, while the other side thinks being strong means hitting Iran hard. CPAC just turned into a room full of people arguing over whether they’re isolationists or hawks, and nobody seems to have a clear answer yet.
