Racist. You forgot overwhelmingly racist. On a recorded phone call he once said he feared he'd be reincarnated as an "N word" as punishment for things he'd done in this life. He was also super homophobic.
The pathological lying was so outlandish and over the top it was usually entertaining in a sad sort of way just because he was't bright enough to ever realize how blatantly full of shit he sounded anytime he lied. Which was generally anytime he opened his mouth.

Pain meds, amphetamines ( he was a coke head) and benzos are all common in the steroid abuse world.
It's far greater for wrestlers it's fake but they did a lot of damage to their bodies.
Edit I'm aware coke is not a amphetamine. I should have worded better I meant he liked coke not speed.

It's not steroids ca really mess with your sleep and blood pressure you take it to calm it down after intense activities it helps your CNS and stop all the sweating from carrying all that weight.
Being on high amounts of gear in general walking around makes your heart rate and blood pressure abnormally high so people take it to lower it.
I lived out in Vegas and was heavily into the steroid world and got to meet a lot of people that life is a lot of drugs when you are pushing it hard.

Not that hard. I've taken almost a gram of test a week, it's genetic honestly. Some people can't rest on a normal trt dose. It hit me hard for a cpl weeks but came down and was ok. Ever since the Chris Benoit incident in the early 2000's WWE has been very strict with its talent when it comes to steroids and pain meds. Even top stars like Randy Orton got suspensions for failing drug tests after all of that was implemented. It was the wild west basically in Hogan's era where long as you could wrestle that night promoters did not care what you were on.
1

Actually the wellness policy comes from Eddie Guerrero's death a few years prior. Eddie had juiced himself so much his heart popped at 38 years old and just when he was arguably at the top of his game. The stuff with the chair shots to the head and concussions come from Benoit. Even then, they let top stars get away with stuff all the time. I'll never forget when Orton, Edge and Batista were implicated in that steroid ring from Signature P******* and pretty much only the midcard and lower card guys got suspended and they put the belt on Orton even though they should have suspended him. I remember Cena lying and giving some bullshit answer to the question as if he's never taken steroids.

I mean the NFL literally has doctors on their payroll to take care of these matters. The Toradol and Cortisol injections. It’s beyond just pain pills. There’s also morphine and fentanyl drips.
If the player can perform, is ok with the risks involved, and can legit produce than there is absolutely nothing he can’t do with the team to get on the field for game day.

Not even remotely close. The NFL generates $23 billion dollars in revenue in 2024.
The WWE had its standout year in 2025 and earned $1.7 billion.
They are not even remotely comparable in terms of physicians, staffs, medical facilities, trainers, training/post surgery rehab facilities, on call 24/7 staff. Not even remotely close.

To be fair, I was initially surprised that WWE would let such a topic be discussed so openly in a Netflix documentary that I assume they had to sign off on.
Then I realized, oh wait, this makes perfect sense. He’s dead, so now is as good a time as any to give him the ole “Ultimate Warrior” retcon.
They can basically throw him under the bus, for lack of a better term, so they can play the “Yeah, things were real bad back then but look how much cleaner the locker rooms are now. No need to discuss workers rights or unionizing” card.
Sweep the racism and other undesirable behavior under the rug by blaming it on the drugs, then Pepsi Man CM Punk can revive his “Straight Edge Society” as a new form of 12 Step Program.
You already got talent like Cody Rhodes and Mercedes Mone doing texting services with fans that are essentially just tweets delivered via text so it feels more “personal”.
Imagine if WWE pitched it as AI Chatbots posing as the Superstars so whoever signs up for their Cult…er program, can pick whoever they want as a “Sponsor” to help them on their “Road To SobrietyMania”
And with a WWE Hall Of Fame inductee in the White House, doesn’t seem that unreasonable that they could pitch it as some kind of National Health Program backed with government money to combat the Opioid Epidemic.
Could probably get Kid Rock to co-sign it too, for all his heroes at the methadone clinic.
Isn’t Idiocracy fun?

Fun fact about most entertainers, they’re all awful people. Most people try to do good, but most people also don’t have an army of PR people behind them.
It’s why shit will never be what it was early on. I mean, look at Fleetwood Mac. They put their shit out there, wrote generational music and still had issues. Meanwhile Dwayne Johnson flashes a pearly white smile while doing exactly what he’s been coached to do. It’s just gross.
Real people look up to what is completely unattainable instead of realizing life sucks and no amount of inspirational quotes won’t save you.

I worked with Hulk shortly before his scandal tape dropped. It was for a series of Rent A Center commercials. He could barely walk. They had a chair placed about 10 feet from his camera mark, which is not normal. I miked him up, and saw his lower back was full of scars from various back surgeries. When the AD would call to roll, he would slowly stand, shuffle slowly to the mark, and animate himself for the take, do his signature flex and then shuffle back to the chair. I was pretty shocked, but it does make sense that he was on p**********.

He exaggerated by a magnitude of 1000. Fentanyl is prescribed in microgram dosages, not milligrams. But even then, it's not possible. The largest patch they make is 100mcg/hr, and a total of 600mcg/hr worth of patches would likely be a fatal dose even for a highly opioid tolerant patient. I've been in pain management for 21 years and on high dose fentanyl for well over a decade. There's simply no way he was on those numbers of buccal lozenges, patches and lollipops concurrently, even if you converted them from mg to mcg.
And they don't make the buccal pills in 80mcg either. They start at 100mcg and work up to 800mcg.

Fentanyl isn't prescribed in milligrams. It comes in micrograms. And fentanyl patches don't come in 300mcg/hr size. 100mcg/hr is the largest single patch made. And the Actiq fentanyl "lollipop" has a maximum size of 1600mcgr.
Source: Been in pain management for 21 years. I now have a intrathecal pain pump installed that dispenses 1600mcgr/day of fentanyl. Before that, I was on a total of 150mcg/hr patches.
