That's step for come back. Create new party, wait few years when people start beeing dissapointed, say that you changed, renewed and go to election.

It worked in the US. Trump utterly failed to lead during Covid and lost to Biden because of it, but voters have short memories

Also directly attacked the peaceful transfer of power on the way out. First time ever for any sitting president. Voters still forgot, ignored, or convinced themselves it never happened. Some even convinced themselves Biden was President in 2020, the lockdowns took place on his watch, and the insurrection was just a narrative.

It's not just the US, but it is definitely the case in the US, but for most voters it seems like the economic macro environment is basically everything. If the economy is bad then nothing else matters at all. People will willingly give their rights away to a dictator and sell out their minority neighbors to oppression if a candidate says he can get their take home pay up.

Yeah, and even if that candidate is the one who tanked the economy in the first place

Usually a complete renewal starts with the person at the very top stepping down

F*** off to Russia and never come back then. Or stay and face your criminal charges in court and accept the punishment.

Don't give him the luxury of living in Russia. I'd rather see him pay.

Current proposed renewal plan for them, by the people, for the people: First part: jail for half of them. Second part: jail for the rest half. 👮‍♂️👮‍♂️🚔Indul az "út a börtönbe program" culák!🚔👮‍♂️👮‍♂️

Maybe start with the head of the party.

“Renewal” is code for - send operatives to America to be schooled up on how to manipulate grassroots politics with billionaire funding that will allow stacking of courts with rightwing judges that will - find a way to keep Orban 2.0 in power indefinitely.

Renewal seems like the wrong word. Relapse? Remission? That thing that cancers do.

This is why they are now pushing for a max 2 term limit

You had 16 years of free run. Rather than renewal, why not disband?

A complete renewal via the prosecution

Complete incarceration is needed for all higher up in his party who betrayed Hungary to Russia.

I think you should take the Phoenix route. Burn it all to the ground and see what rises up from the ashes (hopefully nothing).

Its what fascism does when it cant seize power, it reorganizes before coming back with a vengence. We've seen it happen in the US already. (now also starting to see it in Brazil) Mark. My. Words. We'll see these Orbán fucks return yet.

People often forget, that Orbán was the prime minister of Hungary between 1998-2002, with the same party. So this last 16 years was his "coming back with a vengeance", and hopefully it will never happen again.

Do you honestly believe Orbán will just give up after this one? Hungary ousted him, he's fully defeated. Gone forever? Thats a bit naive honestly. So long as the conditions that lead to Orban and his Fidesz cronies to retake power from the socialist party remain, he'll just come back. (or a new Orbán will show up)

Better wait until the corruption trials are over so you don't get your new leadership imprisoned right away...
