Does anyone else here not like fancy clothes? I love a tshirt and shorts. I know everything has a time and place but any time Im in fancy clothes I just cant wait to get into my tees and shorts.
same. i can appreciate when people look polished, but for myself i’m spiritually committed to clothes that feel like i could also nap in them. fancy clothes are nice for about 12 minutes and then i’m over it. like yes, i can dress up….but in my heart i am always trying to get back into a t-shirt.

I love feeling comfy, especially after a long day. One of the best parts of my day is getting to change into comfort wear 😊

I actually don't really understand this logic because fabric and fit do more for comfort than something just being a t-shirt or just being shorts.
Well fitting formal clothes made from fabrics that feel nice are perfectly comfortable.

To each their own. I just feel like when im in fancy stuff im more restricted. Skirts are nice and flowy but i gotta remember to wear a slip and watch so it dont get dirty ect. Needs to be ironed and nice and i juat dont feel like me

I absolutely HATE wearing anything dressier than jeans and a sweatshirt. I feel like a clown when I have to dress up.

I like comfy fancy clothes. Sea island cotton dress shirts. Driving loafers, wispy wool pants

I don’t dress up to fancy but a couple steps up from t-shirt. I wear t-shirts for work and casual wear but my preference is a nice button or snap shirt, jeans, and dress-boots.

Working from home makes me a t-shirt and shorts kind of person.

Same here. That's what I'm wearing right now.

I actually make an effort to wear "fancy" clothes when I can. I tend to gravitate towards casual clothes too because it's much easier for me: I'm a wheelchair user, and things like clothes riding up, riding down, or getting caught on things are real issues. But I make the effort because I want to look good and, more importantly, like I take care of myself.

Me too, especially athletic wear. And whenever I can, I wear leggings instead of jeans for sensory reasons.

I so rarely have a reason to dress fancy these days that when does occur, I don't mind it all. Love to be comfy but it's also nice to feel sharp every now and again.

I get it. Cotton is a quality, breathable fabric and lots of people don't like 5 costume changes a day. But I was a military musician for 7 years and I'm kind of a process type. More Hollywood than NY. Or perhaps Malibu?

I 100% agree. Can't stand wearing fancy dresses and heels. I like joggers, tee shirt and sneakers since I'm the sporty type.

I would wholeheartedly agree with you, except I despise shorts. Jeans or even a tracksuit for lounging/exercise are better in my opinion. Still comfortable, but not too casual.

My sense of style basically just falls to “can I comfortably nap while wearing this?”
Sometimes I do have to dress up, and sometimes I get the urge to get super fancy but 9/10 times I’m dreaming of getting home to take it off lmao

Yes, casual whenever I can. Shorts are preferred from around May to October.
