According to Lyons, as agents approached the car, Hernandez “weaponized his vehicle in an attempt to run an officer over”.
In response, the officers “fired defensive shots to protect themselves, their fellow agents, and the public”, Lyons said. It is unclear how many shots were fired.

Meanwhile, they're raping, torturing, and murdering the detainees at the concentration camps when they aren't literally selling them off to a different country. There's no consequences. Who TF are you kidding? The government is set up to make you poorer and eventually enslave you as well. What the f*** are we even doing at this point?!
People should be way more f****** angry it's so frustrating watching people forget things and rationalizing bullshit to themselves every day just to stay sane enough to survive in this system (for the time being). This is cope. I figured veterans or something would've stepped up by now. This is f****** outrageous.
Our last hope as the working class are the midterms but we all f****** know Trump is just going to ratfuck the elections while continuing to compromise our national security and placing bets on our f****** lives. He may even draft us before the midterms at this rate. Trump vowed revenge and ran as an insurrectionist and there weren't consequences then. There weren't even a consequences when Elon Musk was found to have tempered with the election except for a strongly worded letter. Anyone not in the club would have been arrested For that but Elon Musk gets to bluntly say on TV that he'd go to prison if Trump loses the election, is then found to have rigged said election, and absolutely no consequences come from it. I'm just so f****** pissed right now.
Consequences won't come unless we vote in people who advocate for the working class and actually f****** mean it. They also can't be associated with AIPAC or any other major organization that would encourage corruption. If we can't do that, violence is inevitable no matter which side it comes from. Last I checked, human trafficking and terrorism is violence. Democrats have done nothing except try to "negotiate" with the other party by pretending to fall for their haggling tricks and ending up becoming "centrist" (eventually non-apolagetically fascist) corporatist pigs anyways.

I dislike Trump and see him for the evil he is but I'm not sure how Musk could have rigged the election. The problem is the electorate or 78 million of them who voted for him. It's a media problem where spending $100 million which is what he donated will sway the easily impressed and you can get away with saying stupid stuff like They are eating the cats without it being publicly denounced across all platforms.

He openly bragged about it. He crowed with delight 3 full hours before the election was called that Trump had won. There are anomalies in key voting districts that don’t make sense that the Dems never trailed. He offered people in PA $1 million dollar checks just for voting. Tell me that doesn’t reel of tampering.
He even tweeted bitterly there was no way Trump would have won without his ‘help’.
On camera, he giggled that terrifying laugh as he actually showed a reporter with glee and pride how easy it was to get in and out of the voting machines without detection. He was proud of this.
When cornered for DOGE being the massive f*** up it turned out to be that saved us nothing at all but released tens of thousands of dedicated non-partisan civil servants, cut grants and programs without any guidance by a team of 20+ something hackers who simply went slashing every department everywhere through everything using only a criteria that if it had anything to do with perceived DEI hires, or anything about LGBTQIA+ or feminism would get cut immediately… his final f*** you to Trump was a post that said ‘Trump is in those files’.
He’s absolutely complicit.
In ways we will never actually know. All accountability committees everywhere were also slashed. I hold nothing but tears for this country now.

Just want to add that besides ICE/DHS lying in public they are also entering fraudulent evidence in court and destroying evidence. [In the first 9 months of this regime, the DoJ has been caught entering fraudulent evidence in 35 separate court cases](https://youtu.be/2RMqaMQIHKo?si=00oAi4J0a6wcurZm) while in the past decade there may have been one singular case.
The DoJ besides the incompetence, is systematically lying to the courts to get the outcome they desire. Thats what authoritarian governments do before they just say f*** it and become judge, jury and executioner on the spot (tbh I guess ICE is already doing that).

ICE officers often have lots of training - the ones that murdered Alex Pretti had decades of experience and relatively high levels of training.
ICE agents were likely trying to murder him not because they lack training, but because DHS leadership has provided clear direction that they can do that shit without consequences. We’ll see how that wager plays out over time — typically cops get off with no repercussions.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents shot a man in a vehicle in northern California on Tuesday.
ICE agents conducted a vehicle stop in Patterson, a rural agricultural town in California’s Central Valley about 80 miles east of San Jose, to arrest Carlos Ivan Mendoza Hernandez, ICE director Todd Lyons said in a statement.
Lyons described Hernandez as a member of the Los Angeles 18th Street gang and said he was wanted for questioning in El Salvador related to a murder. Lyons did not provide evidence of that allegation. The details of that investigation remain unclear.
California governor Gavin Newsom’s office wrote on social media that he had been briefed on the incident. “As is established practice, we expect our federal law enforcement partners to appropriately collaborate with state and local law enforcement as this matter is investigated,” his office said.

I’ll never understand the rationale of shooting at the driver of a moving vehicle, GET OUT OF THE WAY.
Shooting into the vehicle is entirely vindictive and has no place in law enforcement. The officers safety should be the first priority especially if it’s as simple as NOT STANDING IN FRONT OF A MOVING CAR.

ANOTHER. ICE agents shoot ANOTHER person in a car in Northern California.
They shot a civilian in LA in November and before that in San Bernardino besides the 2 Chicago shootings (1 civilian and the other fatal) not including Good which was also obviously fatal.
Of course this man is immediately being called a "gang member" which is their phrase for immigrants while calling literally all the civilians they previously shot "domestic terrorists". Whats the over-under on this one being dismissed in court and the man let go as we find DHS/ICE's story is all made up bs and a video comes out showing the opposite of what they say like every other shooting 🤔

I won't assume whether they were right or wrong to stop this guy. However this pattern seems strange. The claim seems to be drivers are "weaponizing the cars" but it always seems that the agents will stand directly in front of or behind a car attempting to drive away.
Not only does this lead to escalation and shootings, eventually an ICE agent is going to be killed or injured by stepping in front of a car driving off.

A behavior that was (at least before this administration) against the handbook of how federal and local lawenforcement were supposed to act when engaging a vehicle.
Also 100% against how we were taught to perform roadblocks in the military (in preparation for international peacekeeping duties). Never approach a vehicle from the front. Set up obstacles to minimize position vulnerability to ramming violence. If a vehicle turns around, if you're in a relatively lawful area you just register their plates and pass on the information to Intelligence (as it allows for Intelligence/police to nab the Operative at a later occasion).

There's a revival of the gadsden flag, the snake now features a lead and a ball gag, and the words are changed to "Tread on me daddy"
It's strangely popular.

Les agents de la ICE ont encore tué un homme en Californie c'est pas nouveaux c'est ni le premier ni le dernier à être lâchement assassiné. La ICE est une police criminelle qui tue des immigrés et des manifestant pacifique.

My guess is it's being suppressed by the media because it further highlights how Gestapo ice have become

Seems pretty normal for the US. Surprised it wasn’t at school.

Lot of people saying ICE *killed* and *murdered* again. Shows how many people actually have reading comprehension. The article - and other google searches on the victim's name I've done - only say he's been shot and hospitalized. As of the current reporting, he's not dead.
Still, f*** ICE. But guys, f****** read.

Gun discharged by lawless thugs while pointing at human. Shot or dead is probably not an important distinction considering the intent.

It is kind of important. Attempted murder and 1st degree murder are not the same crime.

It's not important to the intent, but it is critical for legalities.
Like I said, f*** ICE. But correct terminology is always important.

It says he was wanted in El Salvador for questioning in connection to murder, which sure, fair, that's a very serious thing, but this really just shows that it shouldn't be ICE agents approaching these sorts of situations. They're barely trained. They're just not equipped to be safely stopping someone who may escalate in the middle of traffic. It endangers the officers, the person being stopped, and everyone else in the area. They always defend themselves by saying they're going after murderers and rapists, all the worst criminal, but on the rare occasion that's actually true, they're just not the agency that should be dealing with that type of thing.

Trump quietly merged DHS, FBI, DEA, etc by signing an order that they can use each other's resources. There's pretty much no rules anymore at this point.

DHS has lied about this shit before. To them if you are brown you are somehow in a gang

You seriously trust ICE after they've been routinely been found and proven to lie on these cases?

Just watched it. Video shows him trying to escape, not run anyone over. Gang involvement isn't proven yet, and since DHS has lied multiple times this year, I'd wait for proof on that claim
