Why are these perverts so concerned with where people poop?
It's obscene.

It's because they're fascists and they're engaging in a strategy that is identical to the one that the Nazis used in Germany to start WW2.
They create alliances by hurting people who did nothing to deserve it. That's how they consolidate power among like minded people. Most people understand that they're just human beings and shouldn't be victimized for being born a way that "is not popular among members of a certain political party."
It's bread and butter fascism. That's exactly how it works. Most people view it as being totally disgusting, but some people are vile and evil, and they like hurting people who didn't do anything to deserve it.
So, "that's how fascists build their army of vile and evil people."

At least the *thinking* Christians will be able to see their religion is primarily about hate, not the many New Testament verses that proclaim otherwise.

The politicians are just creating division for their own benefit.
The voters who support it are afraid they’ll be attracted to someone with the same reproductive organs as them, and they’re too insecure in their sexuality to allow that.

A lot of people aren’t comfortable with it and then get called perverts for having said opinion so they’re just over it entirely
Try working with people 🤷🏻♂️

What are you even saying? I can't even tell which side you are on? Over what? What opinion? Are you one of the weirdos who is obsessing over where people go to the bathroom and their genitals in general?

I’m saying, in general, the people you insult typically will completely abandon trying to work with you

I am fine not working with people who want laws restricting other people's rights just because they are uncomfortable. I think it's extremely weird that people care and want to know the details of people's genitals. Trans people are less likely than other groups to commit sexual assault, so the only reason to take their rights away is because other people are uncomfortable. I think those people are wrong and need to learn how to get along with others.

Yeah it’s definitely not easy

starspangledcatsMar 27, 2026

It honestly isn't. I agree that insults in general don't help and in general, it goes against my main rule to treat others the way I want to be treated. But there are people who are actively harming the trans community and I have given people the benefit of the doubt for a long time. I'm past that now. We are edging towards a civil war and the things these hateful people say about others just because they are uncomfortable is no longer acceptable. Sitting by and saying nothing and letting their hate fester is only making it worse and giving them movement.
5
internetdeadafMar 27, 2026
So completely eliminate the other side through a civil war? Interesting… I suppose that would be effective
But in lieu of that I’m going to keep suggesting we work together
0
starspangledcatsMar 28, 2026

I didn't suggest a war, merely pointed out that is where this is all headed. If there aren't free and fair elections (which the administration is already trying to prevent), then working together will not be an option unless we want to give in to fascism. We have camps being built and people being rounded up by masked men. An illegal and extremely expensive war. Trillions more in dept in 1 year. A president who is implicated in child r*** and actively preventing justice. The same president who tried once already to prevent the peaceful transfer of power. Congress and courts have abdicated their power. This isn't some minor turbulence. It's a coup.

starspangledcatsMar 28, 2026

By the way, "working together" would look more like trying to figure out why someone who is just trying to live their life makes you so uncomfortable. If someone is not doing anything wrong other than existing and being different from yourself, then it's a 'you' problem. You can't expect people to not exist or have limited rights just because you are uncomfortable.

They are hoping to get trans people into prison, where they can be detransitioned/abused/raped/killed. Basically turning the justice system into a de-facto genocide machine. This was outlined in project 2025 and they are doing everything they can to make it happen.

Gendered restrooms are an anachronism that needs to go. The real simple solution: Unisex restrooms. Put walls and a locking door on the commode stalls. Get rid of urinals.
12
LimberineMar 27, 2026

Unisex are better for men by single sex are better for women. I’m totally happy to use trans women in the women’s loo with me and if the law makes fully transitioned trans guys also use the women’s bathroom then sure. That’s weird but I don’t want them getting arrested and sentenced to prison for a stupid law. But in the bathroom it’s nice to have a largely female space. We sometimes go there to escape men for a bit and we sometimes spent time on our appearance etc. A lot of women’s bathrooms here have a little mirrored area with seats.

I do and I would strongly prefer this option over what exists right now. As a dad of girls the current single sex bathroom setup has been terrible as men's rooms are terrible places for girls and I can't go in the women's room. Individual bathrooms where I don't have to worry about other people is a perfect solution every time it's available. Its what you see in airplanes and it's perfectly fine for everyone there.

Sure, but each restroom is a single stall. In that situation. When you have multiple stalls and your kids are teens - what then. I took my boys in the bathroom with me in public places until they were old enough to insist otherwise. It was still very scary as a parent, patiently waiting right outside the door. So I get what you’re saying but we will not always be with our kids when this situation occurs, so that’s also something to consider.
We didn’t create this mess of confusion of what sex ppl are but here we are in this bizarre debate! A bigger question is why have so many young ppl become so confused, what’s been happening to create such a confused state?

YOU are confused.
you are repeating right wing bullshit. Which I saw coming right from your first comment.
Trans ppl are not confused. They know exactly what they are: they are born in the wrong body.
Some ppl, like you, are unable to think for themselves and just repeat something they heard. I just wish ppl like you would shut up. Having to read 'your opinion' is aggravating.

I appreciate that your argument instantly collapsed and you pivoted away from the sensible statement of let's just have multiple stalls to there's something wrong with kids these days (there isn't).
Just stop caring about what other people have in their pants, that will make everyone's life easier.

This better include all male staff members or concerned members of the public who go into the women’s bathroom to “check” for trans women.
“Any men in here?!”
“Yeah you you dickhead, get out”.
Also male police officers. I’d rather have trans women in the bathroom with me all day rather than have random angry men coming in.

Flood the phones with complaints. Any obviously MAGA person you see enter or exit a bathroom should be required to prove their sex. Take the fight to them.

You don't have to be trans for this bill to affect you. If you're a guy in, say, an empty restaurant and the men's room is closed, guess what? You'll go to prison for *half a decade* for using the other bathroom to take a piss. Ridiculous.

The strictest most needed BATHROOM BILL in the USA must prevent PASTORS, PRIEST, DEACONS..... people in the god industry from using any public restroom in the USA. This will actually save the lives of children. Put the spotlight on the pedophiles, rapist and murderers where it belongs. That's progressive, letting pedophiles from the god industry define morality is a f****** insult to humanity!
