This is intended, it's an attempt to make it impossible for trans people to participate and exists in regular society, with the goal to eliminate their existance from the public.

GOP project 2025 is starting with the most marginalized and vulnerable people to move their way up through, gay, minorites, women etc. They will build on these laws/rulings to piggy back to next step

Just like Little Adolf's party did. The amazing part is watching GOP toadies in Congress thinking they'll be part of the fledgling dictatorship...

All the fascists just never consider that they won't be in the in group forever. There is no endgame, it's a suicide pact.

There is a word for attempting to kill or eliminate an entire kind or genus of people. Which was it? Genomic? Genovese? Genotype? Yeah, something like that.

It's literally what they want. Do not bother saying to a republican "Trans women will get assaulted in men's restrooms" they know. That is the point. Don't bother saying "Trans men will get beaten or killed going into women's restrooms" they know. That is the point. Stop pretending for even a moment these people have a conscience, morals, ethics, or give a single wet sticky shit about anything. They don't. They're literally incapable of compassion and remorse, and cruelty is the point. They want to feel powerful, and the only way they can possibly think up to feel powerful is to hurt, harm, kill. They want us to be assaulted in bathrooms, they want us to be beaten trying to take a piss, they want us arrested for wearing clothes they don't want us wearing, they want queer kids to kill themselves. End of, and anyone entertaining the idea that these are not their absolute goals is deluding themselves. Don't bother trying to talk sense into them. To them, it's our bodies, their choice, and that's how they damn well like it.

There are many blue states that got your back.. you're very welcome up in the PNW ..

Dramatic-Collar6353 Mar 25, 2026 +2
Im lucky to be in as little danger as I can be, right now, but I'm grateful. More people need to realize how bad this all is, and be ready for it to get worse still. Just... try to help, anywhere you can, locally or not, safe area or not. It matters. I promise. Very few seem to understand.

dancingfordates Mar 25, 2026 +2
I know... We do. And will continue to
2
DrunkAndHornyGuy Mar 25, 2026
Idaho is in the PNW..

dancingfordates Mar 25, 2026 +2
Not spiritually.. not even close... I said it because we are neighbors... But we are not closed cold hearted selfish people...
2
DrunkAndHornyGuy Mar 26, 2026
I wasn't aware the Pacific NorthWest was a spiritual designation instead of a geographical one. So if you're going to use that specific meaning you might as well just say 'Seattle, Spokane, Portland, (and maybe Salem and Eugene) are welcoming since the rest of the PNW is just like Idaho.

dancingfordates Mar 26, 2026 +1
Sucks for you .. the West PNW has ALL the money all the power most of the people..almost all the good guys .. Hard luck
1
DrunkAndHornyGuy Mar 26, 2026 +1
Cool. That still doesn't make the east PNW separate from the entire PNW. Also the rural parts of the west half aren't too much more 'welcoming' either.
1
dancingfordates Mar 26, 2026 +1
Your struggling, your pissed liberals have power and run the PNW.. all you have is arguing over any little thing you can find... Sucks for you..
1
DrunkAndHornyGuy Mar 26, 2026 +1
You really assume a lot don't you, LoL you're arguing with a ghost in your head. Have fun with that.

Trans men don't exist in right-wing propaganda because they are inconvenient for right-wing narratives.
54
kitnzkat Mar 25, 2026 +22
Their answer is to make it illegal to transition at all, like in Russia.
22
Vio_ Mar 25, 2026 +3
They're already trying to ban medical care for adults.
3
NurglesGiftToWomen Mar 25, 2026 +9
Right wing men fetishize trans men and trans women. They view them as sexual objects and seems intrinsically tied to why they don’t want to see them in public.
9
Pump_and_Magdump Mar 25, 2026 +15
They exist just enough to be targeted for extermination.
15
Kink_Panda Mar 25, 2026 +26
That's the point, to label a person as "undesirable" to live in their world. It's letting the system kill them quietly, been that way for decades. They want them gone, one way or another.
26
Ramzaki Mar 25, 2026 +9
Yep. But don't say genocide, eh!
9
Crommach Mar 25, 2026 +10
And definitely don't point out how current MAGA rhetoric about trans folks and the LGBTQ community in general *very* closely mirrors the rhetoric from 1930s Germany. That would be uncivil.

Didn't even police union speak against this law in Idaho? It was under the clause that they dont want to be bathroom police and have to have a 'suspect' prove them wrong.
16
DatAssPaPow Mar 25, 2026 +3
Yeah. What do they do? They just say ‘show me dat d***.” How do they even police this law? 🤦‍♀️

Intelligent_One9023 Mar 25, 2026 +8
What Republicans really want is to decide what other people's gender is, based solely on what they think they look like. Nothing about science, nothing about safety just pure bigotry and harassment. "If the way you're dressed doesn't match what i think your body looks like, then i get to police you because i don't like that." It's just about a preference for specific cultural social norms that they want to pretend are universal and objective. Ignorance, basically.

Healthy_Intention_92 Mar 25, 2026 +5
A whole lot of mannish looking MAGA ciswomen are about to be in for a rude awakening.
5
Intelligent_One9023 Mar 26, 2026 +1
Nothing a little cognitive dissonance can't take care of
1
symphonicrox Mar 25, 2026 +5
Just keep using the men's room, trans dude. And use the women's, trans lady. Guarantee most people won't even know. This legislation has to end though. They had to have known they are just going to cause unnecessary violence and open every single masculine woman and feminine guys to accusations.
5
Sorry_Comparison_787 Mar 25, 2026 +4
That's the point they want all non conforming people to die.
4
SomeComforts Mar 25, 2026 +9
Watch Nikson Mathews testimony in the article, they address the problems with trying to do that. In short, the ability to stealth is a privilege of passing as a cis man / women. Many of us don't want to or aren't fortunate enough to be able to. It also forces us to stealth and hide that we are trans, and endangers us if we are outted. He is out to peers as trans. Any one of them could, under this law, anonymously report their use of a men's restroom.  A single transphobe discovering you are trans can stalk us for restroom use, then assault or have us jailed for 1 year. NSFL warning - look up v-coding to realize the full extent of what is at stake for us here.

Sorry_Comparison_787 Mar 25, 2026 +4
They want us trans people all dead and I will never forgive cis people's complacency and gaslighting over the past decade.  F*** y'all for real.  At least I get to tell you f****** idiots off before I get thrown in a death camp to be torture r*** detransitiond to death.  I bet y'all will say I'm exaggerating or I should just comply?    Dear cis people you f****** suck.

No, I'm trans. I'm realistic and hold people accountable.
6
smurfsundermybed Mar 25, 2026 +2
I would put the odds of a typical idahoan being able to identify a trans person pretty low, which means there's gonna be a whole lot of crying wolf and worse.

TechieSidhe Mar 26, 2026 +1
I wonder how many Idaho reps at CPAC this week who are on Grindr looking for transgender individuals to have sex with. I bet it's a LOT.
1
Apathetic_Zealot Mar 25, 2026 +1
This is where the malicious compliance of the Civil Right era must be invoked. Yes you will be victims. Go in groups and film what happens outside the bathroom (don't bring cameras inside). Stage a visible protest of trans men going into the women's bathrooms and trans women in the mens. It's literally the only way these kinds of laws can be fought against because the public already thinks they are doing the less harmful option. They must face the consequences.
1
TheRuneMeister Mar 25, 2026 +1
This bill is not for Nikson Mathews. They don’t care about that kind of trans. Its the other way around that they take issue with.
1
baseketball Mar 25, 2026
Third option is use the bathroom you're legally allowed to use and then shoot whoever is in there and claim self defense.

I’m non-binary and trans feminine. Didn’t want to give up the quick access to a urinal and have always used the men’s room. The only problems I’ve ever had is folks warning me that I was going in the men’s room or guys walking in seeing me and double checking the sign. Never have had a threat at all. It’s such a nothing burger problem for both sides and I can’t believe we are wasting legislative time on something so ridiculous.

I’m a non-binary, trans-feminine person. I was diagnosed with gender dysphoria, and while I don’t fully identify as a woman, hormones have helped me feel more comfortable in my body and mind. I present in a mix of masculine and feminine ways: I use masculine pronouns and dress professionally, often in a mix of men’s and women’s clothing (guy tops don’t fit anymore), and I incorporate feminine touches like makeup and nail polish. Essentially, I inhabit men’s spaces comfortably while expressing my feminine side visually and physically.
1
Ok_Insurance_1283 Mar 26, 2026 +1
So, let’s get this straight as I’m having a hard time understanding your point. Do you think it’s a nothing burger to force a woman into the men’s bathroom? And to make that case you are drawing upon your experiences as someone who’s not a woman and lives as a man. Is that correct?
1
Gooser3000 Mar 25, 2026 -8
So he identifies as male but wants to use women’s bathroom?
-8
platinumarks Mar 25, 2026 +9
No, he wants to use the men's restroom
9
Gooser3000 Mar 26, 2026 +2
I don’t think anyone would question him.
2
Healthy_Intention_92 Mar 25, 2026 +5
That's the ironic reality transphobes haven't considered- there are going to be a whole lot of people who were born biologically female, but have transitioned using hormones and now look like hairy, balding, bearded dudes, all forced to use the women's room because that's the genitals they were born with. It would be hilarious, except it will no doubt result in violence... all because these morons only stop to consider men who have transitioned into women.
5
Gooser3000 Mar 26, 2026 +3
That’s what doesn’t make sense to me; the very thing conservatives are concerned about is exactly what will happen.
