Exactly, and we all have holes in our news-media landscape. Plus if you get news from social media or never go past front pages of news sites, you will miss lots of stuff that doesn’t fit certain narratives or is perceived to be less of a big story.

Large protests are very much part of Israel. I suggest you begin these sorts of thoughts not with "I never heard of that" to "I never heard of that but hey that sounds interesting I better look it up." Never take things for granted. Have that investigative instinct
