If a reboot of any franchise was announced but the original was permanently destroyed, what would you pick?

I would go with the original franchise, as it has the established brand and loyal customer base.

I’d go with Jurassic Park. Bring it back fresh, even if we never see the originals again. dinosaurs never get old.

I’m sorry…are you crazy?!? Jurassic park is a perfect action movie. Absolutely not . Jail. Straight to jail

The Fast and the Furious. Let’s be real, the original is already a meme. A reboot might accidentally be good, and we’d lose nothing of value.

The Godfather Terrifying choice but if anyone could actually do it justice with modern filmmaking the upside is enormous Worth the gamble

Fuuka and A Town Where You Live (Kimi no Iru Machi). Both are by Kouji Seo, and both anime adaptations are an absolute insult to the original manga. For Fuuka, they literally changed the most iconic, gut-wrenching twist of the story just to make it a generic "feel-good" show. It’s like they missed the entire point of the title. And Kimi no Iru Machi? The anime is a rushed, confusing mess that skips all the character development and emotional weight that made the manga a legend. In this reboot scenario, I wouldn't just delete those anime files—I’d make sure the people who decided to butcher these stories never touch a script again. These masterpieces deserve a 100% faithful, long-running reboot that respects the fans and the original art!
