If you had to sum up Donald Trump in one thing he’ll be remembered for, what would it be?

Epstein!

I agree with this. Everything he does is pitched as the worst thing ever by the left, even if they ignore the exact same thing under a Democrat. The Epstein files alienated him more from non-MAGA conservatives and even some former-MAGA conservatives more than any other issue. He was voted in on the premise of ending corruption among the government and untouchable elites and then ended up defending them much to the aggravation of nearly everyone who is capable of acknowledging he can do wrong. I think because of this, it is likely to be seen as the most defining issue of his presidency. Venezuela and Iran might still steal the spotlight. They almost certainly will if he starts any more wars or anything drags past the end of his term. But I think the Epstein files are bigger to most Americans currently and may stay that way in the history books.

I mean, if someone was stupid enough to vote for HIM of all people to do those things, I have a really nice pile of sand in the dessert to sell them.

I don’t judge people who say they voted for Trump too much. None of his opponents have been very good options. However I do judge someone who is PROUD they voted for him. If you’d been proud to vote for any of the two party presidential candidates in the last three cycles I’m judging you. If you’re proud to have voted against either candidate I fully understand.

Nah, kamala was easily the lesser of two evils, even if that isn't a shining endorsement.

The competion. Both times he ran against women.  Right or wrong, America is simply not ready for a woman President.

Epstein for sure. In 30 years people will still be fascinated by how a web of powerful people got away with abusing children. Top of the list will be the President who symbolises how the rich and powerful have no accountability.

The grift. Probably the greatest grifter ever. Turned the office of President into a vehicle of familial enrichment. How stupid is the American electorate?

Reach-Nirvana Apr 3, 2026 +3
I think once he’s dead, they’re going to try and pin way more of the Epstein files on him in the hopes it’ll take the heat off of the others that are in them. So he’ll likely be remembered as a pedophile who was elected president. People will look back on America the same way people today look back on Germany when Hitler was in power, but I think they’ll view him as worse than Hitler in a lot of ways.

On Mar 19,2026,Trump met with visiting Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi at the White House. When a Japanese reporter asked:"why didn't the United States notify allies such as Japan before striking lran?“ Trump say:"we went in very hard and we didn't tell any body about it because we wanted surprise.who knows better about surprise than Japan? Ok,why didn't you tell me about Pearl Harbor? Sanae Takaichi:her eyes widened, she took a deep breath, shifted her body, forced a smile, and looked extremely awkward.

As an addendum to my post; how the f*** do you install such an individual to any public office when his moral deficiencies have been laid bare through the courts.

All of these comments are talking about things that are too recent. Unless a “smoking gun” is discovered on Epstein, future generations wont focus on some of the things you like or dislike about him. And many policies can take decades to see the full outcomes. Like him or hate him, he signed “right to try” for medical treatment. Your child might get cured because the option is exercised. On the same side our relationships with allies might be too harmed if Iran doesn’t go the right way. Until they play out, none of us can really know what will happen. We are still seeing after utilization and effects of the Monroe Doctrine, which is over 200 years old. The only things you can really count on posterity to remember are things that cant be argued. He is boisterous, controversial, and does what he says. That is what his blurb in your great great grandkid’s US history book will include on him.
