I don’t have twitter or social media really. And yes I’m aware it’ll have little effect but f*** do I just need to at least send the request out! The chemistry of that movie is too powerful to not try it again
Which studios and/or representatives would it make the most sense to send a letter asking for a sequel or one season tv series?
It seems like Gosling, Crowe and Black are all ready for it. And it seems like it has enough of a following that it could work financially now
See we gotta think like Holly or the large members kid on the bike or else we’ll just be throwing cigarettes in our pool

Warner Bros still owns the rights I think, so maybe start there with their development team - though getting past the spam filters is gonna be the real challenge.

Thank you and yeah I might just hand write a letter. That’ll extra help me accept I’ve done what I can

I think you could just say you'd like a sequel or even a new movie with the same cast, me too, without formulating a fruitless plan.

Probably David Ellison

It didn't make money and unfortunately I feel it's in the cult classic family which means the audience is far too niche, and studios are more cautious as is. Would love to see it but I doubt we'll get it

That’s where I was until the most recent Rewatchables episode. Hearing them gave me hope it’s a larger niche than most cult classics

dude, totally get it, that movie is a gem. you might want to hit up Warner Bros. since they produced it, and maybe even the agents for Gosling and Crowe. can’t hurt to try, right?
