Marco seems like the only competent person in this administration that actually gets shit done.

He gave a speech bitching about anti colonialism and got a standing ovation. I don't think any of these clowns are competent.

Marco has sold out America for his own gain like most Republicans, I'm not even American and i can see that. May come across as competent, but no, he's what's in it for me?

Look, I agree with you, but apparently he is the best we got right now...... there are not a lot of current alternatives until next election, and then the Pubs lose the House and maybe Senate; then we got two more years of all this bullshite!

I would also point out that Marco's family are immigrants and Marco who has done well for himself is now saying no to to others who want to do the same, what a scumbag, Trump who does not like illegal immigrants is married to one, enough said about whats good for me but not for thee

You are not wrong, and I am not a Marco fan, I am just pointing out that he seems like the most IDK, stable person in the top tier of the administration. Sure the US will be doing Cuba in June, partially on his behest; so that will be a whole thing. I can't wait till the next mid-term and presidential election! The floors will be wiped, unless the whole stealing thing happens!

I can see that, just makes him more dangerous

A mop would be a better alternative than what you have now

You have good reason to b****, but coming from Australia who have always backed the USA, f*** off until you guys get somebody with brains leading the country

Fritzkreig Apr 11, 2026 +2
They are not as bad, but I hear that there is substantial distain for some of your leadership past and present?

ozrocket Apr 11, 2026 +3
No idea what u r saying, who's they? and i guess for any government in any country there will be disdain, my argument to that is there is not enough disdain coming from the American voters to sway the government from becoming an Idiocracy , I would point out that the opportunities Marco''s family had which enabled to him be where he is today , he himself is denying others from doing the same. SCUMBAG

Maybe get student visa appointment wait times sorted while you're there too. Trade is more than just goods. Human capital is huge and years of higher education relationships are being squandered.

Two questions for you, genuinely curious: 1. Are student wait times still high? The last time I applied for tourist visa, I noticed that they were giving priority to student applications more; if that's the case, I'm wondering what exactly is keeping them this slow. 2. Do you think that student visa applications have reduced in the past few years? The bad job market and perceived bad sentiments might be playing a role, in which case long waiting times are even more surprising.

From what I've seen, students are getting visa appointments. However these are students who got I-20s in January and February. Perhaps overall there's been a decline in visa applications but for universities with historically high outcomes rates the numbers are staying the same.

I've seen deer in headlights that don't look as confused and unsure as Rubio.

So what's your take on this what should we do?? Should we stop all trade and communication with the biggest economy with massive purchasing power on the planet? What should we do instead of talks and trying to get a better deal? You dumb idiot.

Right about not trusting the USA especially under the current leadership but unfortunately India depends on the US in so many ways, economically and militarily eg: GE jet engines. No matter how much we hate their actions and hegemony, we can't criticise them publically. Same for many other Asian countries, all vassal states of the US. For instance, one vassal state is holding peace talks as we speak. I know, truth hurts.

Hopeful-Explorer-443 Apr 11, 2026 +18
You are framing this as if India is getting those jet engines for free. India already paid for those, GE has not delivered them yet. India always purchases any foreign military equipement we have, none is given to us so i dont get the point about us being a vassal state.

AccidentHour1068 Apr 11, 2026 -3
Never said we are getting anything for free. One wrong step against the US and our Tejas program may be F'd. Thats the sort of dependency I am talking about. Plus India's current leadership is not the same as Vajpayee and MMS when we could say what's right and not what keeps the USA happy. Both Vajpayee and MMS have openly criticised Israel and USA multiple times.
