India set to commision its 3rd indigenously developed nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarine INS Aridhaman today

All 3 Arihant, Arighaat, Aridhaman kinda means destroyer of enemies.

But it's a submarine, not a destroyer.

These are SSBNs not attack subs, used for nuclear deterrence not hunting opposing ships / subs

I'm saying this in the most objective way possible, pakistan is definitely one of the stronger regional military powers, but their navy might aswell be non existent.  India doesn't have a huge navy for pakistan, they need it to combat the much larger existential threat of China over control over the Indian Ocean.  The Indian navy definitely has its work cut out for them in that regard.

Nah they are not capable of building those submarines. China can give them though but giving these kind of military equipment to Pakistan is burdening the world with instability.

Pakistan won't need any deterrence if they just focus on their actual issues instead of poking against India needlessly.

This is a nuclear powered and nuclear armed sub when it comes to conventionally armed subs Pakistan's new AIP subs can potentially outclassed India's most advanced conventional subs like the Scorpene.
