Trump is a Traitor, he used Iran war as an excuse to lift sanctions on Russian oil and make his master happy. The American people need to remove this Traitor. How it’s done doesn’t matter, he’s a Pedophile, Rapist and a Traitor. As long as he and the rest of the Pedophiles and Traitors in the White House are all gone.

Good thing is Ukraine keeps blowing up Russian oil facilities

It will be good for Ukraine but it will fu*k up world economy and energy supplies. Because of Iran war middle eastern oil supply is disrupted and if you stop russian oil as well then it will be catastrophic for the other countries, especially poor ones.

Russia could always pack it in and leave Ukraine today. That might help alleviate the problem somewhat

Yes, absolutely. And US should also pack up and leave Iran as well. Both US & Russia are creating problems for others.

The IRGC could give Iran to Iranians too but they are addicted to power.

There is no real incentive for any country in the world to be a loyal Western ally anymore. There's no reward for that. Playing both sides will become more and more common. Many leaders are already doing it: Modi, Milei, Orban, Fico, Erdogan, Tokayev, Aliyev, Pashinyan, Ahmed al-Sharaa... Just look at how the Trump admin treats Ukraine, a loyal Western ally, while praising Orban and doing everything possible to keep him in power.

How is this anything new for India and Russia?

India is pragmatic as they come when it comes to oil . They get it from anywhere they can. They have a MASSIVE population and not much domestic oil so they do what they gotta do i guess.

Agreed. I don't even get why there is a quote on the trusted friend part when it's no secret that these 2 nations have been on good terms and even cooperating on several projects, with that Brahmos missile being one of the most well-known.

More countries need to adopt green renewable sources of energy like Solar Power and electric vehicles. Because being dependent on a select few countries for Gas and Oil etc winds up being bad 👎 😐

India is doing a lot on this front, it’s a big nation with growing energy needs so it’s going to take some time.

Sounds like high time for more Russian LPG/oil tankers and especially export terminals to receive an explosive hello from Ukraine. India is going to have a hard time importing oil that Russia can't get out of their country.

Ukraine will have to pay sooner or later for the psychopathy of people like you.

UncleBored 5 days ago +5
This attitude is endangering the world. You will find many countries withdrawing their support for you. And countries like China might just go a few steps further.
5
Firov 4 days ago +4
Really? That attitude is endangering the world? Not dictators invading their neighbors and murdering civilians? F*** off.  Ukraine didn't ask to be invaded. Your buddy Putin made that decision all on his own and Ukraine has every right to defend themselves against a brutal invader, and yes, that includes attacking the Russian economy so that they can't invest more money into weapons which will be used to murder civilians.
4
UncleBored 4 days ago +3
Yeah, we didn't tell Putin to do that. Our PM asked him to stop the war too. Putin is not a puppet of India or rest of the world. To answer your question with a question: You want civilians of distant lands to be killed for no reason? F*** off.
3
Firov 4 days ago +3
... What? How is Ukraine targeting Russian oil terminals and tankers even in the same neighborhood as 'killing civilians in distant lands', which by the way Russia does almost daily with missile and drone strikes on civilians. Did you think I meant for them to target India? If so, I'd suggest you work on your reading comprehension.

People in poorer countries are likely to die due to lack of cooking gas. Let me also tell you, I do not support what Russia did, even if some people in my country support it.

> You want civilians of distant lands to be killed for no reason? F*** off. Ukraine has much a right to exist as yours or any other country. This is 100% Russia's fault. It's unfortunate to have to say but your mother raised a f****** simpleton.

UncleBored 4 days ago +7
Of course Ukraine has a right to exist. Who refused that? When did I even say that? Good god, does everyone have to react emotionally without even thinking of other possibilities? I am saying Ukraine blowing up gas terminals will cause a global crisis and may end up killing people in poorer countries. With Iran, Gulf and other sources unavailable, this could be a death knell for many. Replacing those terminals will take years. That will cause a global crisis.

Victim blaming nonsense. If Russian oil and gas terminals explode it's because of precisely one man. Putin. The fact that oil terminals take so long, and are so expensive, to (re)build is precisely what makes them vital targets. Not only does destroying an export terminal cut down on oil revenues within Russia, directly reducing the amount of money available for the war, but it also forces them to divert money and manpower from the war effort to rebuild the terminal. Russia has shown that they'll throw every single minority in their country into the meat grinder to gain a few meters of ground in Ukraine. That means the only way for this war to actually end and for the deaths to end (which you claim to care about) is to collapse Russia's economy... and the way to do that is to sanction their oil and gas exports. Either diplomatically or kinetically. Now ideally, we'd be doing this through diplomacy, but countries like India and China are, right or wrong, choosing their own self interests over global peace and continuing to import oil, which leaves kinetic sanctions as the only alternative. Perhaps an unintended consequence of their supposed 'self interest'? Regardless, it's deeply sad that the poor in the developing world may suffer as a result of this war, but if your country truly cares about that then they should be putting diplomatic and economic pressure on the only actor who can actually end it... Putin. If Russia withdraws, the war ends. If Ukraine withdraws, Ukraine ends, and a nationwide Bucha massacre begins. And by the way, Ukraine was a top-five global exporter of wheat and maize, mostly to developing countries. They're known as the bread basket of Europe for a reason. Yet oddly, you don't seem to be too concerned about Putin mining and bombing those ideal farmlands which will also directly hurt developing countries...

Classic whataboutery. Of course that's a problem. And the way to make it worse is to bomb those LNG terminals. The reason I am saying this is only because just like a nuclear bomb, killing global energy supply does not remain a local problem, it becomes a global issue. You want to take a large chunk of the world down, go ahead. I am not suggesting you don't target other installations. However, doing this will make matters worse for all. >Victim blaming nonsense. Where did I blame Ukraine lol? >Perhaps an unintended consequence of their supposed 'self interest'? Yeah, exactly. Ukraine has a chance to not play that game. I remember Ukrainians complaining bitterly that India and China are putting their interest above the Ukrainians'. Now you want to do the same. So why the charade earlier?
1
Firov 4 days ago +1
There are no other installations that will shut down the Russian economy nearly as effectively, or as quickly. Refineries are good targets, but will take more time to produce results, and there are more of them. As far as 'not playing the game', that's really not how this works. In fact, this is a nonsensical attempt to hint at hypocrisy, when really it's quite the opposite. One directly caused the other. Ukraine complained about that because the means used to murder their citizens and destroy their infrastructure was being directly funded by India and China buying oil at well above the internationally set price cap. Their self interest and failure to heed that price cap/international sanctions is what forced Ukraine's hand in directly targeting the export terminals. If India and China had followed the international sanctions on Russian oil and gas, they maybe would have had a higher cost for energy, while if Ukraine doesn't destroy the Russian economy then Ukrainian cities will continue to be targeted almost every single night and their citizens will continue to be murdered. That's not the comparison you think it is... It's like punching someone who suggests that violence is bad and should be avoided, then shouting "Hypocrisy! Charade!" when the person you punch decides to hit back. India has a right to focus on its own self interest, of course, but it can't very well complain when its self interest and disregard for international sanctions directly triggers unintended consequences further up the line... especially when those consequences aren't even directly targeting India. Remember, the only Indians who have died here are the ones kidnapped by Putin and forced to fight on the front lines.

Interesting that the article tries to frame this as a result of Iran, yet India has been aiding Russia since day 1 of the Ukraine war. They send lots of ‘dual use’ gear that both sides know go straight to the Russian military.

They also aid Ukraine by being a top exporter of diesel to them. Refined from the same oil you guys are crying about.

#2 & #3 biggest liars friends of #1. 1) Iran... 2) Russia... 3) India Lips moving, lies flowing! India is not a supporter of eliminating the world issues (Russia, NK, Iran), it is an acceptor and allows and promotes there acceptance of societies against acceptance of others. ie Iran's desire to eliminate Israel, or Russia's desire to absorb Ukraine. This is the issue of India. China, sees it all... watches... capitalizes...waits.
