You mean the war that's presumably over? The one that isn't officially a war?

Why post a known non truth?

citymousecountyhouse 5 days ago +2
Do you not understand, the truth is what Mr. Trump decides it is. Whatever you may have thought the "truth" to be in the past is now subject to approval from our betters. Forget the "truth", you need only concern yourself with The Trumpth.

Not only is the situation tense and constantly changing, both sides are constantly lying. I'm starting to think that it is a waste of time to try to determine what is happening. I wish I could find a reliable, timely source of information.

That's the point of suppressing them all and turning folks against the 'fake news media'.
2
citymousecountyhouse 5 days ago +1
That's also the point of the actual fake news. Like that creepy kid supposedly being held hostage in a hotel in Cuba. Mr. Trump and his acolytes don't want us to know what is real and what isn't. They want us to no longer be able to even use our common sense to understand what is real and what isn't. Surely you remember one of this beast's apostles informing us they intend to "flood the zone". And they've done exactly that to half of America who cannot even think enough to realize that eating horse paste might not actually cure disease.

> I wish I could find a reliable, timely source of information. Trump is very reliable and timely. Oh, you probably meant accurate as well. Sorry, best we can do is constant and confidently incorrect information, call truths. Ironic, isn't it?

It's not news but I'm looking at just data at www.warescalation.com, which tracks ships passing Hormuz, strikes and some market indicators. It's time series based and at least consistent through time. Not earth shattering but at least less stressed bject to Trump noise. Last weeks were quiet attack wise but Hormuz also sealed off. Which tells me the impact for the West remains big economically but at least few casualties.

It’ll be over in two weeks. Except it’s not a war, except when it is. It’s like the Strait of Trump-Epstein - open and closed at the same time. Two weeks.

Will the Epstein files be released?
2
citymousecountyhouse 5 days ago +2
We have been instructed by Mr. Trumps latest appointee that there will be no more release or investigations of any remaining Epstein files. This week we have also been instructed to take road trips and to get comfortable with our new affordable gas prices. Isn't it wonderful. Where will you go this week?
