Lying to manipulate markets while the military hasn't stopped prepping for going in.

It’s definitely pump and dumps. Look at the SP500 over the past month. You can see them. This last one was huge, but still in the red. Eight ball says “more manipulation likely”.

People aren't following what actually happened here. Iran's president made a public comment that they would be open to a ceasefire if there were garaunteeds the u.s. wasnt just gonna come back again in a year.
Trump jumped on this to manipulate the market and called him reasonable an d moderate (which he is.) But by calling him the "the new regime president" it caused confusion because he is not new he has been president for a couple years. And saying regime made people think he meant supreme leader.
Now onto the iranian president. He's a puppet figure literally controlled opposition put there by the late ayatollah to keep an eye on the reformist party and make the younger generation who are foaming at the mouth for democracy feel at ease. He has 0 power, is disliked by the IRGC, and his entire political career has been him having anything and everything hes tried to do be overridden by the Supreme leader.

Joking aside, Trump thinks that the loudest person in the room is right. It’s a very juvenile mindset, but it fits the demographic he prefers.

I mean, it's also possible the IRGC is either lying or simply doesn't know who he's negotiating with because their power structure is fractured. They're all f****** liars so don't take any of their word at face value.

I also like the idea that they do tell trump they want a ceasefire, trump takes to truth social, and they gaslight that absolute f*** out of him and deny it

The IRGC recently got pissed at Pezeshkian for making comments about a deal because it helped lower the price of oil and helped the US stock market. It is in the Iranian government’s interest to amplify negative news and deny deal talks to keep oil high and the US stock market low. It is in the US governments interest to play down concerns and amplify positive news to achieve the opposite effect.
Confirmation bias makes it so that many Listnookors see through Trump’s lies but take the Iranian government’s words at face value, even though they’re even less trustworthy than the Trump administration.

Im not sure confirmation bias plays a part when you stop taking a know liar at their word.
But yes iran is probably lying to some degree as well.

He’s trying to set the narrative. That’s what he does. Think he’s also trying to setup an out for himself. Instead of “US fails in Iran, stops attacks” he wants the narrative to be “Iran and US agree to ceasefire, Trump says mission accomplished”

First it depends on if this is a moment Trump is normal, for him, or having a dementia moment.
If a dementia moment, it’s him just being completely out of it. He can’t fathom being wrong.
If “sane”, the flow chart divides again. There are three paths:
* Trump is just attempting market manipulation or similar. His career is built on being the type of sleaze bag to say “We’re/They’re doing X!” and using peer pressure to force others to follow through on his BS.
* Trump is a big believer in manifesting. That if you believe something hard enough it can become true. This doubling down is effectively Trump’s version of praying to god that Iran gives in to his demands.
* Trump is being given bad info from his sycophants and yes men. The people Trump thinks are negotiating are going to Iran, being told to scram, but telling Trump things are going well because they don’t want to lose their jobs.
It is probably a mix of all of those.

It doesn't matter what Iran says. People will believe what they want to believe, and that is for a quick end to the Iran war. As a result, they will continue to believe Trump when he says a deal will be reach soon, even though there is no proof and that Trump has been lying throughout this war.

I think its pretty obvious what is going on:
1) everyone told trump to F-off because the USA was the aggressor,
2) Trump wants to seem like he is playing nice/there was a ceasefire
3) Iran will attack someone because - you know the war is still going on.
4) Trump will claim that Iran violated the madeup ceasefire and is now the aggressor.

This clownshow in the whitehouse has completely painted themselves into a corner, and now trump is throwing as much shit at the wall as he can, hoping that something will stick.
The strait is locked down, and Iran has full control of it. trump can't negotiate a ceasefire because Iran doesn't trust him, and he won't allow a third party to negotiate due to his terrible hubris. Even if he did, Iran would extract serious concessions in order to reopen the strait, likely including removal of sanctions and security guarantees, two things trump wouldn't allow to happen. At the same time, the bombing campaign isn't enough to suppress Iran's control of the strait - the only way to reopen it would be boots on the ground in the form of hundreds of thousands of American servicemembers - something that neither trump nor the American public is willing to tolerate. On top of that, he can't just abandon the strait or the GCC will revolt and the petrodollar would be finished.
So he's left with alternatively making threats and trying to get Iran to reopen the strait by stating that they're already talking to him, hoping that someone will slip up and that he'll be able to take advantage of the ensuing chaos. trump literally cannot exit the war because Iran won't reopen the strait, they don't trust him enough to make peace, and he can't force it open.
This is going to go on for a lot longer, folks. It has to be one of the largest unforced foreign policy errors the US has ever made, and that's saying a lot.

I would honestly like Iran to clap back at Trump faster. All he’s doing is manipulating the stock market with his claims so that they can get in and out and make big cash. If Iran clapped back at claims within hours instead of days, that would stop the market manipulation faster.
