It’s worth noting that this country is only “winning” in the sense that America has no tolerance for combat losses or the violence, time, and economic pain reopening the flow of oil will entail. Iran can man checkpoints with desperate children and then throw a single drone at a Dubai skyscraper and call it a win. The IRGC leadership's outward bluster belies a real fear of their own population, that it poses a tangible threat to the regime that if left unfettered, could topple the whole thing.
