He's surrounded himself entirely with sycophants who tell him whatever he wants to hear, and are afraid to tell him anything he doesn't. There's probably some back channel discussions going on that Trump keeps undermining by making weekdays being discussed public. The only way Iran surrenders to the US is if the US gives them a way to do it without looking like Iran surrendered to the US... and Trump is too self-centered to allow that to happen.

What does surrender even mean? Like, is there actually a viable replacement regime? Is the us going to solve the f****** water crisis iran is in? Are we going to run their nuclear power plants? Like, you know what im saying? I still do not understand what goal we supposedly want.
