Only if someone gets a perfectly timed, massive bet on oil prices before.

Total coincidence it’s at the weekend.

This is literally realtime market manipulation.

I'm going to keep it real with ya I don't think Iran cares much about the us stock market. And I doubt their own version is benefitting much

That lasted about as long as expected

Good thing Trump announced everything was cool and open on Friday so he could manipulate the market over the weekend.

\> Be POTUS \> Practically beg for Strait to re-open \> Secure temporary Cease Fire + Partial ---> Full Strait reopening \> Don't follow the terms of the Cease Fire \> Strait closes Surprised Pikachu face

When you realize he’s just manipulating the market. It’s a lot more clear.

It's the same mentality as the already-defeated bully in the 80s movie trying to get one last line in to salvage some shred of dignity and just getting humiliated again for it

Maybe the Iranians didn't say "Thank You" after the negotiations.

But does Trump have the cards at least?

I'd certainly be feeling pretty stupid if I had voted for a guy with 34 felony fraud convictions and also had his charity and "university" shut down for fraud. I mean, fool me once... Right? But after 36 times, I'm a dumb shit!

Whenever you enter a war or a conflict without any f****** goals or objectives, what other outcome can there be? Additionally, modern wars are much harder to even claim who has the decisive victory unless your objective is an outright genocide. Everybody's acting like the United States is getting its ass kicked whenever the plan is working out exactly as expected. Step 1.) secure the largest oil reserves on the planet that isn't controlled by another near peer adversary (Venezuela) Step 2.) start a conflict that will see the price of oil skyrocket. 3.) profit

It's a Trump-Cease-Fire : the words sound the same but it means the exact opposite.

Will people finally understand that it's already too late. Trumps stupid war effectively handed the strait into Iranian control, nothing is going to change that

stars_mcdazzler Apr 18, 2026 +57
Don't forget to thank Trump for all his "negotiation work" that won us this great victory, especially if you voted for him. You should be proud of your decision.

3 days and 5 hours until the US-Iran ceasefire is set to end, and after all of these contradictory statements I have no idea where this is going honestly… Btw if anyone needs it, see how long the current ceasefires, Hormuz Blockade and other short-lived stuff are actually lasting, live counters with your timezone here: https://www.calc-verse.com/en/things-dont-last-long

America should use "carrier pigeons" to inform their remote troops to stop the blockade- because apparently the US communication is just as good as their Intel
