Negotiations on one hand, executions on the other.

This is the two-faced nature of the Islamic Republic. This is why it's a terrible idea to negotiate with them. The regime's leaders lie constantly and always break the treaties and deals they sign.

That may be true to some extent, but dismissing any negotiations entirely can also make situations worse. Sometimes diplomacy is the only way to prevent even more escalation.

Escalation is what is needed to remove the regime from power and stop it from murdering, torturing and raping more Iranians.

I understand the frustration, but escalation often comes with massive civilian cost and long-term instability. History shows that removing regimes by force doesn’t always lead to better outcomes. Diplomacy may be imperfect, but it’s often the least damaging option available.

Not escalating will come with even more massive civilian casualties and long term instability. The Islamic Republic is the biggest source of civilian casualties and instability, so removing it from power will end up saving lives and creating stability.

I get your point, but history is full of cases where escalation was supposed to “save lives” and instead led to prolonged conflicts and even more civilian suffering. Removing a regime by force doesn’t guarantee stability – often it creates a power vacuum and years of chaos. That’s why people are cautious about assuming escalation will lead to a better outcome.

I mean, Trump is a different story but to act like American government as a whole is in any shape similar to the Islamic Republic is just wrong.

Mossad operatives aren't typically known for leaving paper trails, so I'm curious what evidence Iran has to back this claim.

They never have any evidence. The Islamic republic conducts summary executions every day.

Basij operative: I don't like you! You are a mosad spy! Kill him!

That's cute that you think they even need any evidence or backing for this. They've been doing this for 47 years, and nobody's even tried to stop them. All anyone does in response to this is "strongly worded condemning". Thanks, that'll take care of this.

I hope this regime falls and we get to see an open trial in Hague.

12th Jan - 'Help is on its way,' Trump tells Iranians as he urges them to keep protesting. The help never arrived and the Iranian people were abandoned to their fate at the hands of the evil Iranian regime.

Pretty sure we’ve flown over 10,000 air sorties and we are currently enforcing a naval blockade against the IRGC, but sure, we’ve abandoned the Iranian people. Damned if you do and damned if you don’t I guess. It you’re going to criticize the US, at least try to be consistent.

Without solid evidence, it’s just claims vs claims.

Tankies going out of their way to deflect for the Iranian regime. Sure, let’s just wait for solid evidence of executions released by the reputable authoritarian government of Iran, which already has a track record of such executions. Pathetic really.

Being skeptical of claims without evidence doesn’t mean supporting any regime.

No, it just means they have you where they want you

Being critical of claims without evidence isn’t being manipulated, it’s basic critical thinking. Blindly accepting claims without proof is what actually makes people easy to manipulate.
