The thing is that our normal supply of oil is still arriving, because shipping is so slow (these tankers move at about the speed of a bicycle) we haven't even felt the effects of the war, as ships are still arriving that departed before all the shit went down.

The lack of foresight hy governments and fuel distributors to not cap sales BEFORE shortages is always a frustration. Fuel also doesn't store and keep well. So they become a secondary huge hazard.
A famously hot a dry country with a history of extensive wild fires seems a place you dont want citizens having 1000L unregulated fuel tanks.

Albo and his cabinet is doing a pretty good job IMO, though with a shitty starting position.
The best time to do something about this was in 2019, when Shorten ran on rebuilding our merchant fleet, and rebuilding the SPR, and removing negative gearing.
Shorten getting absolutely demolished by one of the lowest charisma, obviously uninterested in governing, groups of conservatives we've ever had in charge is a reason why Labor wouldn't (and still probably won't) touch any of that with a 10 foot pole. Even if they're good policies, the Australian people made it clear they wanted braindead conservatives over them.

I just bought a car as a broke person 4 days ago. Incredibly generous guy. No deposit. No credit check. Just paid TTL up front then month payments. My point is, now I have to keep gas in it. And fuuuuuuuck it sucks. I haven't seen it above half a tank yet.

Yeah I don't think people realize the shit storm that's coming. The last shipments from the straight will be arriving within the next week here in Canada. From there, we have reserves to fall on to soak some of the damage up, but that only lasts so long. Not only are we losing 1/5 the worlds supply of oil, but food too, on-top of higher delivery costs, and higher profit margins per shipment to make up for the fewer shipments overall.
The cost of food is about to skyrocket, and I fear a lot of people's jobs are going to be at risk in the coming months.

If inflation goes up these companies would make more money in dollars, so if you expect the dollar to weaken it makes sense for the market to go up

If it wasn't for Trump's well documented hate for wind turbines, you'd think he was secretly bought by Big Wind to force the world to switch from fossil fuels to renewable energy.

Yea my bet is this a warning shot to the Gulf states
Iran is basically declaring, “we can and will burn this all down if you don’t get your dipshit in the White House under control”.
And yes Trump is Saudi Arabia’s and Russia’s dipshit.

Every explosion drives the price of Russian oil and gas up.
Ukraine is doing their best to keep Russian production down though.

From the article:
>Iran said the attack was in response to attacks against its Asaluyeh petrochemical plants, which are connected to its massive South Pars gas field and were reportedly hit by multiple explosions overnight.

Since this “breaking news” is being shown several days after the attack, as well as after the ceasefire that occurred *after* the attack, I can only assume that this is an attempt to confuse people into believing that Iran broke the ceasefire first so that ***they*** can justify their “counterattack”.

Didn't KSA signed some sort of defence pact with pakistan ? , when will it be activated or it was just a sham .
Something strange is happening instead of honouring the defence pact and defending the Arabs , they are supporting Iran and targeting the Arabs online especially the Emiratis.

Realistically, what would Pakistan even add if they joined the war? SA isn't even retaliating. Its not as if more airstrikes are going to solve this, and is anyone really expecting Pakistan to invade Iran for SA? lol

This is officially old news now until something changes. Let’s hope for 2 weeks of cease fire as agreed.

Looks like this was prior to the “double sided cease fire” announcement.
Though I don’t expect that to last long, this isn’t a violation.

It won’t be long now before the Trump family regime, Netanyahu, & Iran can begin sharing the Hormuz toll money generated by the Epstein War. Good job, it only cost American suckers & losers 30 billion 💵 in 30 days.
